All in all, some health insurance companies feel like scams designed to take money from people who are already in need. Remember Obamacare? So many people fell for it.

They are literally scams since they are financially incentivized to avoid paying for life saving medical treatment. The one thing they are supposed to do, and they're not truthful with how much they actually cover and you end up getting big bills anyway. Plus hospitals overcharge knowing insurance companies cover only part of it so they make more money, so embezzlement.
