Yes. And yes. You act like it means anything regarding her situation when it doesn't. Being in prison is more of an assassination risk, period. If you're going to kill someone prison is one of the best places to do it.

Her being in prison means she can't hire private bodyguards and have weapons to defend herself. She is at the mercy of guards and inmates who can be hired to kill her if they wanted. Prison is one of the least safest places for an intelligence asset. Shows what you know. If they wanted her dead at any point she is right where they want her. The reason she is alive is she isn't selling out anyone important enough to be killed for.

I don't think it matters that much actually. He ended up dead and so can she if she tried to expose the wrong person. The fact she's alive means she didn't. They don't have much use for someone stuck in a prison cell unless they really want to know about what drugs they smuggled into prison by hiding it in their ass.

It could just as easily be that they're done with her, and that she played ball with them to avoid getting Epstein'd and only threw low enough level people under the bus and avoided the ones who would kill her for exposing them. It's just keeping your friends close and enemies closer. In case you need to take them out later. We can just agree to disagree and leave it at that.

GM knows "something" about "someone". She gets protection. She feels safer in prison, that's where they can protect her*. Ofc, someone could die, and that could change things.

*As in, some people want her dead, maybe the people who killed Eppie, but some people want her alive, for the time being. If you are an asset (and let's be real GM must knows ALL THE GOSS), they will protect you.
