Kiwifarms was originally the CWCki, which was a branch off of 4chan where CWC was initially found on /v/. Its honestly staggering how much the culture of KF clashes with imageboard culture, from users calling anonymity shit, to others saying imageboards are trash for looking like they're from the 2000s and not having stickers.
KF users are not smart.

I remember reading a post on lolcow.farm saying that drama sites (SA, ED, KF etc.) having a userbase with recognizable names and hierarchies instead of anonymity is the biggest reason why they eventually fall.
And looking at the current state of KF's userbase that honestly doesn't sound too far-fetched.

Yes and no.
Places with anonymity but that promote a contrarian and edgelord userbase are doomed to fail no matter what for obvious reasons, such as 4chan, 8chan/8kun, alt-chans and pretty much all imageboard in existence.
If Something Awful was anonymous and non-hierarchical, it would be still full of hedonistic porn-addicted perma-offended trannies.
If ED was anonymous and non-hierarchical, it would be still filled with heroin users and literal kike scammers.
That being said, KF was never great and will only stop existing once it stops making Jewsh money, and that's no secret, he's quite unapologetically honest about this.
