Stickers are the worst part of lolcow sites and people who "troll" with them are below failtrolls. People don't want to get rid of them so a compromise had to be met with only positive/neutral ratings.

A distinct culture my ass. What is their culture? A-logging about literal nobodies, politicsperging you can find literally anywhere else....Duke here needs to realize that Kiwi Farms is just a more autistic version of Lipstick Alley, Guru Gossip, The Dirty, and that KF isn't even on anyone's radar compared to those sites. They need to stop acting like they're these big bad crusaders on a mission to save the Holy Land and just admit that they're just like all the other normies that gossip to feel better about themselves.

Stickers are just a coping mechanism for people who think they're too hip and cool for Reddit with its updoots and awards. KF, like imageboards, is full of hipster speds. Just look at Syaoran Li, for example. If that dude was any more of a tryhard, he'd spontaneously combust.

Actually, some good came out of taking most of them away.
Both A&H users and A&H haters came together to complain they wanted their precious stickies back.

You can solve all the site's problems with stickers by changing how that is displayed by either making it private, showing the amount of negative and positive ratings a person has or doing away with it entirely. I am most fond of this last item.

I don't know. It serves no real purpose aside from driving the majority of visible drama on the site. If it were up to me the stickers would stay and the points would go. I think they do serve a purpose in getting rid of a lot of useless responses and can act as a kind of corrective for bad posts without completely discouraging users.
