Ok so it appears that Null's solution for this is to stop new users from posting on the DSP board completely but leave it open.
I don't have the slightest interest in DSP either and I tend to agree with Null that people hate on him too hard but I also think he is using the actions of a few to justify further changing the forum to what he wants.

Null tries to re-write the situation in the DSP thread. He's saying he can't trust the sub if even the jannies are talking about creating another site but no one said anything about creating a splinter until Null started being such a dick. The whole thing is very disingenuous and the reason for Null not wanting these problem users to leave seems flimsy.
