Either way, sounds like part of his scorn for all things Japanese comes from him being filtered by the language and cultural barrier. It's one thing to have personal preferences and dislike something, it's a whole other thing to do a 180 based on whether you succeed or fail at it. Grapes too sour, Josh?

To be completely fair, Japanese is going to be hard for English speakers because Japanese and English have little in common as far as phonemes are concerned (sounds in languages that sound similar to each other despite being different languages).

Someone who speaks a Romance language (especially Spanish) is going to have an easier time learning Japanese because a language like Spanish has phonemes that are strikingly similar to Japanese (because English speaking people have a hard time rolling their Rs).

Romance language speakers (especially Spanish speakers) are going to have an easier time learning Japanese than an English speaker. In other words, the illegal immigrant brown-skinned gardener working on the outdoor landscape of some white guy's mansion can easily learn Japanese because Spanish has more in common with Japanese as far as phonemes is concerned than English does.

It's the same with Japanese people where the Japanese can easily pick up Spanish better than they do with English because Japanese and Spanish have a lot in common.

So it's no surprise that Jersh had a lot of trouble learning Japanese because his 'Murican mind is too stupid to understand that there are sounds in languages that exist beyond the English language.

LowTax did it too and his money and women troubles culminated in him committing suicide at the end. The same behavior occurs in cult leaders. I mean, you could think everyone being critical of Null is some anime lover, but I actually think burning bridges with Metokur, Kirsche and by consequence, Asmongold, when there's a whole ecosystem forming that would've been friendly to Josh, is probably a lot more of a failure than any of his Blocklands-posting.

Which brings me to another observation pertinent to this topic, why Null is seemingly determined to isolate himself and make the rest of the internet move on without him? Yeah I'm not sure Null is aware how much of the attitudes on site come from Tumblr troons policing the creativity of middle school and highschool girls, who they have zero business interacting with.

A lot of the discourse on his site comes from people who, ideologically, aren't much different from Nikolas Talbott, and his attitudes towards Punk.
