1) Josh's recounting of the founding of the kino casino, and what precipitated it is not just extremely funny for being one of the most sycophantic posts I have seen in this thread which is already at least half KC superfans, but is also consistently inaccurate to a fantastical level. Some of the mistakes are minor and not super important, but others, like why PPP started grifting, failing to mention the powerchat paypig leaks or metokur confronting them on it, when the godwinson breakup actually happened and why, among others seem almost intentional. A conspiratorially minded person might think the purpose of that post was to poorly fabricate a new "creation myth" of KC for the newcomers in this thread who view even the first two years of KC as esoteric lore and don't know any better. Personally, I tend to assign things more to stupidity than malice, and some of the all time bangers in that post like suggesting PPP was inspired by MATI support that side.

In any case, it is funny to have such errors from the guy who runs the same place where what actually happened is recorded pretty extensively. Even funnier is Josh's assertion that he was one of the 40 original live viewers of PPP both because if everyone claimed that was telling the truth it would mean PPP had more viewers than the killstream and because if true it means he was watching live the hundreds of times PPP called him a pedo and called for his execution, something I doubt he would just sit and take still thinking he is a fan given his visceral reflexive response to criticism anywhere else.

I think that post, and lit cigarette's post in response pointing out how these strategic alliances usually go for him will age very poorly and very well respectively in the future.

2) Regarding those criticizing a-logging in this thread despite it not being in multimedia, I point you to these interesting posts made in a thread similarly divided between a-logs and fans.

This thread is for discussing KC, including negatively, it's the thesis of the site. Nothing ABG has done falls outside that. This is not strictly a fan thread, and to those who want one, consider what happened when the thread from the posts above briefly got split between fans and a-logs. (spoiler it didn't last long).

It's pretty entertaining when Moonpie goes in on Metokur because it splits the audience immediately as most are daddy Jim fans that would pick Metokur over Moon. And whenever Joes does this (which I personally enjoy), it makes the chat seethe. He takes it too far though and has to attack Japan and weebs over everything. Just stick to attacking Vtubers, who deserve all the hate. I dislike this crop of e-grifters because they wear the skin and aesthetic of anime and then use these marionette png rigs with poor animation (that they didn't even make themselves) to make a mockery of it. The whole Vtuber thing is ugly, has bad animation, and is horrible uncanny valley stuff like some jerky marionette flinching around the screen. Then Vtubers wearing the skin of anime, threaten to make anime itself cringe in the minds of people 'cause they suck. Anything good about anime such as the visuals, plot, characters, setting, story, music, is scooped out and replaced with 100% pure parasocialism and grifting. So you'll have some fat woman pretending to be a cute girl with giant tits who is making tons of cash using the aesthetic of something people enjoy, but replaced with shallow mindhacks of parasocial relationships of online streaming. So lonely simps get dopamine from an online gf-simulator. Simps like Gator, Flamenco, and Randbot unironically watch these Vtubers despite being grown-men in their late 30's-early 40's. All these Vtubers are grifting, clout-chasing, monkey-branch climbers. And they are using Vtubing to get money and cash out. Kirsche herself wants to monkey-branch her way up to Asmongold and get his money. It seems like I can't go 3 days without Kirsche manufacturing some scandal on Twitter for a publicity stunt to get attention. Therefore, when someone like Metokur platforms and blows up these Vtuber girls like Pippa and Kirsche, he deserves all the hate coming back to him tenfold.

I feel like the Anime hate from Jewsh that he does every podcast is very performative and forced. I honestly think he's overcompensating almost as a way of proving to himself and his audience that he definitely isn't a Neko Shotacon anymore by attacking the medium of Anime itself. I don't like Anime but you don't hear me bitching about it every time it comes up in conversation. Everything Josh does and thinks has echoes from his past, everything from Jannying 8chan to Blockland, it all comes back to some shit over a decade old.

To be completely fair, Jim has always been an anime fan and even back in his Jim81Jim and the Internet Aristocrat days; he was always open about his love for Japanese pop culture. I remember in some of his old videos under his Mister Metokur persona (back when he used to make a lot of videos under the Mister Metokur Youtube channel), he used Berserk and Dragon Ball as examples when he discussed several topics in the past.

So Jim being fond of vtubers isn't that surprising since Jim and his wife are huge anime fans, plus the added bonus of some vtubers (like Pippa and Kirsche) being edgy makes Jim be fond of vtubers even more.

Now as for Jersh's hate boner for anything related to Japanese pop culture. I feel like Jersh is still stuck in the past where Jersh (and some of the Kiwis) have a lot of trouble accepting that anime and manga are here to stay and Japanese pop culture in general is going through the exact same thing that video games went through back in the 1990's.

If you're old enough to remember the 1990's, video games at the start of the decade was seen as lame kids stuff that only loser nerds would like. But then Mortal Kombat and Doom came into the picture and those two games got the 'Cool Kid Seal of Approval' and suddenly video games went from being lame kids stuff to becoming the next cool thing. Now and days, the video game industry is a multi-billion dollar industry and video games has become an acceptable form of consumer media where video games these days are now as accepted as movies and TV shows.

The same thing is happening with anime and manga and anything related to the Japanese now because prior to the Covid pandemic, anime and manga were seen as loser weeb shit but after the pandemic (when the cool kids at school started to enjoy anime and manga), suddenly Japanese pop culture became cool where I'm pretty sure that by the end of this decade or by the start of the next decade, anime and manga will be as accepted as movies, TV shows, and video games. Anime and manga are the new video games now.

To me it sounds like Jersh and some of the Kiwis are only being hostile towards Japanese stuff in general because the world has changed a lot and they're too afraid to accept change. Back in Jersh's day, weebs were trashed on and now it's the weebs that got the last laugh as anime and manga are starting to become acceptable forms of entertainment. It's like watching an old person that still listens to Elvis Presley and they refuse to bother with newer genres of music or watching an old person that still drives an old manual transmission pickup truck while the rest of the car industry has adopted the automatic transmission now. The world has moved on to new genres of music and new modes of transportation while plenty of the world's old geezers are too stubborn to accept change.

I don't think it's projection. Josh is trying to drive away users he doesn't like because he probably regrets basing his life around edgelord websites and stale e-drama. Wouldn't you regret it if you were on every blacklist imaginable, constantly surrounded by lawsuits, and dependent on internet strangers to pay your bills? Even if Josh were to change his name and get a tech job in some third-world country, the company he'd work for would discover his name change and begin to get threats because of him.

Josh has no chance to have anything in life except stale e-drama only internet losers care about. He lashes out at the internet losers in hopes that it will get "winners" (his words) to like him and give him opportunities. Josh attacks anime because the /a/ weebs he grew up around are imageboard losers, and he doesn't want that userbase anymore. Josh hates Metokur because Jim embodies and embraces everything Null wants to move away from. Josh simps for radfems because ladies who got banned from Facebook for disagreeing on trans issues are far closer to normie (and thereby success) than idiots obsessively archiving boring tweets and hours-long streams. Josh constantly gives the soyteens leeway because they're hostile to the "oldtroons" that make up Josh's main userbase. This self-hatred and dissatisfaction with life underpins all of Josh's recent actions. Don't obsess over the internet, kids, or else you'll turn into an obese pizza beast who can't get a credit card.
