in the thread one person mentions its about 10k just for the zine to be made, much less cost of distribution.
mind you thats the cost for one printing. My 2nd favorite part is null clearly believes he can contact some north dakota press and just be like "hey since you're failing would you mind printing my shit too?" he also doesn't seem to understand color is 2-3x the cost. Maybe i've just been around the block but null is in his mid 30s and doesn't know fairly basic stuff, it would be one thing if he was a zoomer but kinkos existed when he was a kid, this shouldn't be stuff he's just finding out.
Even the other users are trying to bargain null down to just a ham radio show or quarterly, they know the 'tism boy would get himself into a tizzy trying to make that deadline and would just say "fuck it" altogether.
Honestly Null is just Chris-chan if he wasn't coddled by his parents and had to live in reality. Null's 'crazy ideas' always turn out similar to chris' etsy/ebay figurines fiasco. the way Chris handled bad reviews 100% reminds me of how null bans people over silly bullshit.
my 2nd favorite part is null thinking he can remotely do business in north dakota. Maybe i'm the retarded one but i think null is going to/ forcing himself to finally get some employees to help him. a ND employee, which i'll admit is a long time coming. If he was delegating shit 5 years ago he certainly wouldn't be as fucked today as he is. joshs entire spectrum of services needs about 14 staff members and if he had those, even if they weren't paid well it would be in a much better position, although you could say the same thing about 8chan and infinity next. the last decade of null's life has been him overthinking his abilites and trying to do something that would be 1000% easier with some simple delegation and help.
Thats arguably the big reason he's still off the clearnet, and in dire straits. if he had other people to handle the time wasting bullshit then he could handle this shit and he'd be making some money and could keep this website afloat. If we're being honest that was the biggest reason Ethan Ralph became king of IBS, and before him Tonka. Not being a one man band and having some delegation of responsibilities meant extremely stronger shows overall. Ralph was at his best as ringmaster, being fed stories by Zidan and having gator do the audio. Dick telling his head writer to fuck off is part of what led the show to become stale which led him to embracing his Wack Pack and eventually led to everyone turning on him.
TL;DR Null doesn't seem to realize how much of an endeavor this truely is and he'll have to abandon it.
