When he did that 2019 MATI interview with Vincent he said he hadn't visited China yet, but in 2022 he claimed to have already been there. So at some time between 2019 and 2023, Null managed to visit China, or so he wants us to believe. No receipts provided for this claim, as with almost any claim that Null makes about his alleged travels. I wonder how he pulled it off without being vaccinated for Covid, since that's the reason he claims he won't go back to the US. I checked to see China's Covid entry requirements, and they've changed them as of this year to allow those with a negative PCR test to enter the country:
MATI is a seperate thing. Unlike KF, which is like a necessary evil, MATI is what Null really likes doing because it's centered around himself and his personal interests, the lolcows that he personally follows. I don't know if you've ever taken the time to listen to some of the old MATI episodes, back when it was called "Midnight Mad", but if you do you will notice how those early episodes were very different from the way MATI is today. MATI used to be like a "community podcast" that would present whatever was popular on the forum at the time. Null would do these so-called "person streams", where he would pick out a specific lolcow and do a whole stream explaining the lore. In the early days there was also direct input from the Kiwis themselves. Kiwis would call Null up and chat with him live on stream for minutes on end. Nowadays the tables have been turned. IMO it's pretty obvious that MATI is Null's main interest and true passion, and KF is just there to provide content/fodder for MATI.
If KF didn't exist, Null would have to do his own research and track down internet drama on his own, just like all these other drama channels on Youtube. But Null has KF, with plenty of obsessed internet nerds doing the drama research for him, which Nulls gets to use on MATI.
