You know that episode of The Simpsons where Homer Simpson withdrew his entire life savings and invested it in a computer motion capture company only to lose his money in the stock market?
It't that kind of thing. Homer Simpson in the episode wasn't wrong that motion capture would become big in the entertainment world and in the computer world but he made the classic investor mistake of speculative investing (because the future is uncertain, no one knows exactly what will happen in the future).

If you know anything about the history of the far-right in America; there was a point in time when white supremacy and far-right politics almost died in America during the 1970's.
By the 1970's, most Americans objected to far-right politics, civil rights was enshrined into law, the Ku Klux Klan was collectively condemned by most of America, antisemitism was a huge turn off for women in general, and Nazism was seen as an evil ideology by most Americans.
What saved the far-right in America was something that today's rightoids would consider degenerate; Punk Rock.
By the 1980's, Punk Rock exploded in popularity with western youths and this includes in America. Some young white supremacists groups that got into Punk Rock would create music to express their beliefs and this proven to be very effective in recruiting white youths into white supremacy.
Some older members of the Ku Klux Klan were hesitant at first when it came to Punk Rock attracting younger whites into their movement (because body piercings, torn clothes, and dyed hair put off the older far-right extremists) but even the old guard of the far-right came around in tolerating Punk Rock in their movement because they saw it was effective in getting younger whites to adopt far-right politics. Why get in the way of something that works? The old guard of the far-right were stubborn in their ways but they were at least pragmatists.
You would think Jersh would embrace anime to get more people to ally with him and join Kiwi Farms but Jersh dismisses anime as "Pedo Shit" and thus any would be joiners will simply not join Kiwi Farms anyway.
A lot of those right-wing Twitter accounts use anime and pop culture in general to effectively get younger people to adopt right-wing politics. Say what you want about anime and manga but they have done a great job in getting people to adopt right-wing politics.
Anime has done more to bring younger people into the Right than Kiwi Farms could ever hope to achieve.
Anime is the new Punk Rock and Jersh is a fool for not using anime as a useful tool that will advance his best interests.
