Null says that the only way he'd publicly show ban reasons is if he added a 10$ price tag to registrations, because it would be funnier to him if he banned someone who gave him money
he says that but we all know it would quickly transform into "because i said so!" or other bullshit reasons. the amount of times he's banned someone for mocking him would he publically revealed if forced to give reasons or posts that explained the ban

Null says that the only way he'd publicly show ban reasons is if he added a 10$ price tag to registrations, because it would be funnier to him if he banned someone who gave him money. He also gets mad at a user for saying the chat is dead and doesn't need to exist anymore, despite admitting that the chat is dead and many other threads are ghost towns since people have lost interest in lolcows, with the furry board in particular being mostly inactive.
Crazy how SomethingAwful is more transparent than Reddit Farms in that it isn't afraid to list publicly how many users are banned. It's pretty obvious he's just ashamed of it given the "free speech" reputation it has falsely signaled over the years. He's also being deceitful about the criticism of the chat. It's true the site had a chat for 10+ years, but it was always ON THE FRONT PAGE and AT THE BOTTOM of it. It wasn't bolted onto the top of almsot every board and thread. The chat is for users who log-in frequently to chat and catch up with each other, but this is something unique to a board and it's culture. With Josh trying to turn his website into Reddit the culture is now gone.

exactly, he had so many users in chat they literally needed 4 different chats for the site. especially during major happenings or fishtank and lolcow trials. i'd say more people used chat than posted a lot of hours during the day. its like if Null decided no more movie night

Does anyone actually like the redesign? I can understand merging some of the boards but deleting community watch makes no sense.

A couple people have complained about it but they got yelled at by Null. The rest praised it and said anyone who didn't like it are autists who hate change.

Josh has been mask off with "Because I said so!" for a while now. No one's pretending KF is anything other than his personal project anymore.
