Its fairly obvious the userbase now is older than the internet proper. like no one is on fucking tiktok and even streamers are way more niche on kiwifarms than the greater internet.
outside of hasan and destiny they don't know or care about the rest of the streamers. like piratesoftware's thread was extremely small until that WoW moment pushed him into kiwifarms caring about him but he was viral for years at that point.
in general if you weren't famous back in 2019 they don't really give a fuck about you, hell it took them years to bother having a hasan piker thread. They also have a hard time realizing people have pretty short memories. Nick Fuentes is new to them, its like how Suits premiered back in 2011 but for 99% of fans, the show came out in 2024. Fuentes might have detractors and haters but that all happened so long ago. if you ask someone that knows him from tiktok, or instagram reels chances are they remember him hanging with Kanye when Kanye was shittalking israel and thats pretty much it.

Cumia is too old for Kiwi Farms. He is mostly there because he has links to other has-beens with half-dead threads a few users still bump.
Spot on about everything else. Kiwi Farms only cares about Sektur streamers and a few ancients like DSP. I like to call this the Billy Mitchell Effect, when a controversial figure or a controversial group makes a strong comeback despite the conservatory they went through before.
I named this after video game champion Billy Mitchell where he was accused of cheating his arcade game records by many, most notably Karl Jobst where he was one of the big figures in the gaming community that accused Billy Mitchell of cheating and fraud only for Billy Mitchell to successfully own Karl Jobst in court with Billy Mitchell coming back stronger. So when newcomers to the gaming community come in, most people aren't going to dig more into Billy Mitchell's past and just see him as another guy in the gaming world. Billy Mitchell went in to Hell and back and he came back stronger than ever.
You see the same with Nick Fuentes. Yes, there is a lot of valid criticism against Nick Fuentes (from him being a complete shithead towards his friends to him having pedophiles in his inner circle to him being a massive hypocrite that doesn't practices what he preaches). However, Nick Fuentes (for the moment) is able to distance himself from his controversial past and rebranded himself to make himself stronger, just like Billy Mitchell.
I think Jersh forgets that whenever content creators or communities on the Internet find themselves in a heap of trouble, they can also escape from controversy using a lot of Machiavellian tactics to escape from any baggage.
If Billy Mitchell can escape controversy then so can anyone.

You're seeing a similar thing with podcasters, Theo Von was treated like dogshit for the entire 2000s and a good chunk of the 2010s because he was seen as a "reality tv show star" like a Kardashian but to zoomers he's just a podcaster and comedian. Theo has been doing comedy for a quarter century but you'd assume he was some guy in his 20s the way his career has exploded. I disagree with @Obscenity2022, I don't think KF's userbase is actually in their 40's, I think they've just insulated themselves from the rest of internet culture so much so that they're out of touch with what a lot of young men online like and like to shitpost about. They can like it or not, but Kiwi Farms has always had a right wing lean to it for years and a lot of it's current problems stem from Null's utter refusal to pick a side and when he did, it was the side of femcels, driving off a lot of young men who didn't feel like getting henpecked because the fat dude running the forum wanted a Belgian sweetie pie.
