Last I heard the Master chief collection is buggy as hell. They might make a PC version for current Halos on PC but don't expect it to work properly or well.
What do you think of the super Nintendo version of Mario?
Or donkeykong?

Haven't played any super Nintendo games in a while. I liked Super Mario World and played some ROM hacks but its far from my favorite. My favorite Mario game is Sunshine. I don't think I played a Donkey kong game except DK country returns on the Wii.

2 announcements for anyone that didn't know.

1. HuniePop 2 released a few days ago.

For anyone that want's a bit of info before you buy, here's some bullet points.
  • Any linux user that wants to play this just like the first game is stuck playing the windows version on WINE. It's for Win/Mac only as of now
  • As the name implies, you date two women at the same time, making the game a bit more difficult than the previous game
  • New cast of characters including a tranny.
  • From what I've seen online (I.E. other image boards), not too many people are enjoying this since the writing/dialogue is more cringy than the last game
  • There's a patch for an uncensored version of the game - https://mega.nz/file/mxcQSLIJ#7DioMgsh6FSRnKkUOPag07EN-J5pR78xAqyyongP_ho

2. EPIC Store announced that the entire Kingdom Hearts series is coming to PC (of course, EPIC Store exclusive)

lol, square-enix PC ports of games originally on consoles tend to be bottom-of-the-barrel. Wasn't FF13 even a barebones port where pressing Esc closed out of the entire game?

They really seem to just outsource to the cheapest shithouse they can find, with their ports coming off like they have contempt for their customers. They can't even use proper capitalization on their Steam listings, it's all caps all the time. Final Fantasy V on Steam's data is kept in a blob from the Android version, and the graphics are all fucked up in multiple ways, here's an article that goes into copious detail. They're like one of the only game companies where a straight up rom-in-an-emulator is preferable to their "remasters".

But they always get plenty of positive reviews from consoomers who have the idea that if they keep buying Square Enix's shitty remasters, they'll eventually come out with something as good as what they made in the 90s, I guess. Despite, you know, those positive reviews acting as a stamp of approval, meaning they can release continually worse and worse ports while the money train keeps rolling.

I would adore Level 5 if they released a Dark Cloud 3. I don't even care if it's 20 years late.

It's a nice dream, but it would be shit if they made it now.
So my curiosity and boredom got the best of me. A few days ago I decided to download and try Genshin Impact because apparently I'm a huge faggot. So far it's ok, I get the appeal. Thankfully you can change the voice acting to Japanese so your ears don't bleed from the god-awful english voice acting it defaults to. Only thing I don't like is how your progress for some quests are locked until you reach a certain Adventure Level, so you're forced to dick around until you do enough stuff that gives you Adventure EXP.
That must be some seriously horrible voice acting if you'd rather hear Japanese people shriek and warble on.

Yeah, go kill yourself hentaifag. You seriously can't play bejeweled without looking at Anime titties? Do you play this on steam? You let other people know you play porn games?

Now let's talk about a real man's game DIABLO II!

More specifically, the best overhaul mod for it: https://www.median-xl.com/

I highly recommend this game for people who wanted a sequel to Diablo II. It's basically a whole new game. All the classes have been changed, all new skills, new enemies, new quests, new mechanics, the works.

When you first start it might seem easier than Diablo II, but as it goes along it you get to some insanely difficult custom content. The game doesn't REALLY start until you get into Hell Difficulty, and start doing different challenges for charms, there are also 2 challenges that unlock 2 unique skills for each class. To be honest, I have not completed all of the content, the endgame stuff is incredibly hard.

It also makes farming much more fun, by having a few of the custom zones being farming hotspots, like Fautzenville, Kurast 3000, and there's an Amazon place. You can also customize your gear with mystic orbs, that are like augments but you add them passively, and add REQ level to your gear instead of taking up a slot. Also a really cool system where you can melt down your uniques into Arcane Crystals, which can be used for various rare recipies, including being able to upgrade items to the unique version of them. Keeping in mind there are two different uniques now, one that can be made like this and tiered up, naturally called Tiered Uniques, and there are some Uniques that can only be dropped called Sacred Uniques.

But yeah, it's everything you could ever hope for in a dungeon crawler, everything else is ruined for me now, even Path of Exile is inferior, other than having a more active and larger community.

Have you ever took a peek at Pathologic 2! I heard it's a difficult game, but it may be up your alley!
The main difficulty of Pathologic 2 is in learning the system as well as the staple "russian game dev"-isms of the game. It's overall not too bad, especially once you realize you can hop to an earlier save if you're 100% about to die. However, on low-end rigs, it's still jittery as fuck even if you turn the graphical settings down. Very pretty on higher graphics, though.

To be honest, I don't find much of interest in most games coming out these days. I pick up indie titles that pique my interest and otherwise grab old shit when it's on the cheapo to fill some idle time here and there. The only 'new' title I picked up last year was the fantastic RE2 remake, which came out in 2019. Well, and Pathologic 2, but I consider that more of an indie darling because AAA games shouldn't feature tposing enemies flying at you from time to time.

I'm not interested in many new games either, but I'm just as hard up to find these amazing indie games that everyone talks about.

I'd say Odyssey unless you want to pay 60$ for 3 ports or a port with a pretty good expansion. I've heard some good things about Bowsers Fury and 3D all stars is probably the best way to play Galaxy without having to go out of your way to emulate it's motion controls on Dolphin.

Breath of the Wild is really fun for a couple of days, but it gets pretty repetitive. I got past the Zora boss and kinda lost interest. It also doesn't really feel like a Zelda game at all. The dungeon in particular are disappointing though cool looking. It sorta plays like someone made Elder Scrolls with Shadow of the Colossus mechanics and then copypasta'd a bunch of content.

Super Mario Odyssey is fucking amazing and the new Smash is good. Wanna try the new Paper Mario, maybe it'll be good again....

breath of the wild is flaming trash and if you like it, you have an unironic brain disability. The game runs at like 20fps at most on switch, you must be handicapped to enjoy.
