You are correct that billionaires hate us and want to replace us, but the solution is clearly curtailing immigration because that gives workers greater bargaining power. Immigrant bans like the Chinese Exclusion Act and the 1920s immigration restrictions always correlated to a real rise in wages within years. The government also has a lot of authority with national security clauses, like the ones the military uses for domestic production but this also applies to AI, mining, all sorts of shit. Federal contractors (many companies large and small are under this heading) also have to follow more restrictive laws regarding labor than other businesses and that too can be used as a tool.

So yes, if you deport the Indians, they will hire Americans for those positions. That is just how economics works. The War on Immigration is a war Americans can win, but it is not a war that any politician cares to fight. Trump flailing around with ICE does not count because that is just political intimidation of his political opponents.

Even if you've curtail immigration in the United States, it's still not going to be enough to bring back manufacturing jobs and tech jobs and I can prove this because we've seen this happen with other developed countries before.

Take Japan as an example, they have one of the strictest immigration laws in the world but the cost of living and the cost of manufacturing is still high there due to the unneeded bureaucracy and red tape that goes into starting and running as business there. Japan is one of the most homogeneous countries in the world and they still have the same issues that America is going through.

So about about a homogeneous country that is an ethnostate and prosperous but not seen as a first-world liberal democracy? There is China because China is still ethnically Chinese and they have a lot of manufacturing jobs because China has largely deregulated manufacturing. The reason why every Western corporation outsources manufacturing to China is because to the credit of the Chinese government, they are hands off with manufacturing and let Western manufactures (for the most part) do their own thing which makes China very attractive for Western manufactures.

Want to bring back tech jobs and manufacturing for Americans? Get rid of the unneeded red tape and the costly bureaucracy that can hinder doing business in America in the first place.

The irony is that countries like China has out-capitalism the United States because China realized they can take away jobs from countries like America if they just be hands off their economy and engage in free trade. So if America wants to become a powerhouse of tech and manufacturing again then America also has to take a lesson from China by getting rid of the unneeded regulations so that the cost of manufacturing becomes cheaper in America and makes America more attractive for business leaders so they can abandon China and India if America becomes cheaper to make stuff again.

Don't get me wrong, China is an authoritarian shithole but if there is one thing China has done right for themselves is letting countries like America destroy themselves through their foolish labor regulations while China attracts business leaders by not regulating manufacturing in the first place. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Trump's protectionist policies can help but these are useless if Trump is not willing to engage in more deregulation for the domestic U.S. economy anyway. So if Trump deregulated the U.S. economy further then that will give business leaders more of an incentive to bring more jobs back to America.

IMHO, Indo-European studies should be taught as main subject in all schools. Not so much as a path for a second language, moreso for encompassing basic knowledge of linguistics, as well as history, geography, culture and especially science.

We are not in the 1920s, and we certainly aren’t in 1882. We’re under such a harsh thumb currently that there is no “Just get rid of this and everything will be peachy keen!”. If you deport Indians, they’ll just get someone else willing to work for pennies, and if they can’t do that then they’ll get a robot to do it for free. Anything as long as they don’t have to pay more than a dollar an hour. The war on immigration is not an American war, it’s the five hundredth distraction thrown at you by billionaires that still works.

What's funny about the Lidl Drip thing is that it could have worked if not for Null's personality. I've seen plenty of Twitter accounts go from trying to help young men, usually from a right wing perspective, to abandoning them in favor of women and saying young men deserve nothing as the Groyper and incel idealogy swept through the internet's young men, and they do fine. Null managed to be so off-putting to the Beauty Parlor that they made a Discord server and abandoned KF in favor of it.

That is the thing, if they got robots to replace Indians and Mexicans and whatever hypothetical race they import, that would be an improvement. That also has historical precedent because labor shortage means investment in efficiency. Fighting immigration is not a "distraction" created by billionaires (unless again, you mean what Trump does with ICE that Kiwi Farmers clap like seals for), nor is it even exclusively a white supremacist or nativist cause. It is literally a tool for improving society. Might be we will no longer have jobs, but if it is all so hopeless the billionaires have already won and UBI techno-feudalism is our fate like you imply, then it would be slightly less worse to live in that system if we could maintain something like living in a coherent nation and not just a diverse hellscape.

The thing is, machines break down and require maintenance. Which begs the question, are they going to hire college-educated Americans to fix these machines or are they going to hire more cheap labor foreigners for the job?

Even if tomorrow human coders get replaced by AI and machines, someone has to ensure they're working properly so they don't doom humanity into a crisis.

When the refrigerator was invented, the invention of the refrigerator put ice salesman out of business because why buy ice from some dude off the street when you now have a machine that can preserve your food for a lot longer? But the invention of the refrigerator created new jobs, refrigerator repairmen (and a lot of those home appliance repairmen aren't white either).
