I think a big part of it is that Indians bullied him on Twitter and called him a mayo loser and not being able to ban them gave him PTSD, so he's trying to escalate it into mass deportations. This is the same guy who came back to the US in large part because he thought Trump was going to imprison or deplatform all of the people who tried to get KF shut down.
