Archive Today has always been sketchy as fuck.

The moderation is way too lax and I've heard stories on how they don't really do much to take down illegal content which shows me they're probably fucking screwed.

And I know they're screwed because if the FBI wanted to then they'd just send an email to the owner of Archive Today and I'm sure the owner would happily comply.

But the fact that the FBI is sending a subpoena to a Canadian tech company means one thing. The FBI wants to to know who runs Archive Today and how they can legally nail them. That alone shows me the glowies want the head of the Archive Today owner on a silver platter.

But truth be told, I think the CSAM is an excuse. I've heard rumors that Archive Today is run by a Russian foreign national and since the Biden years the American government has been seizing Russian-connected websites deemed being used to influence American public opinion. I think this is it, if you are a Russian offering services to Westerners then get ready to be raped by the Western feds. Just look at what happened to the guy that founded Telegram.

So if the Western glowies permanently shut down Archive Today then it's the end of an era.

The main difference between the Internet Archive and Archive Today is that the Internet Archive have more stringed rules when it comes to copyright takedowns, they comply with takedown requests of illegal porn, they take down doxes and other forms of harassment, and they act in good faith enough which is why the feds don't fuck with them.

Archive Today? It's an almost free for all where almost anything goes which means the glowies are going to take a lot of interest in them.

I've heard rumors that the Trump administration is silently telling Youtube to take down anti-Israel videos and channels. Archive Today has plenty of anti-Israel and antisemitic content. So if this is a collaboration between America (CIA) and Israel (Mossad) to take down platforms and then blame it on Russia then I think it may work because normies are going to look at this and say 'Oh, website owner is a child predator so this is a good thing' and not bother to look at the details to see why everything about this is screwy.

If this is the case, I do see other websites that comes to mind that could be raped by the Western feds soon. If you think Western democracies don't violate people's right to free speech, oh yes they can and they fucking will. This doesn't make sense for a number of reasons. The first problem is what do you mean by "Aryan?" I assume you basically mean "white" but even if so, any idiot can tell you that an American White, British White, Irish White, White bread, white milkshake, white joycons etc. are not exactly a cultural monolith (which right there shoots holes in the idea that skin color = predetermined behavior but let's move on).

Second problem is there would still have been centuries where these groups had never met white people, and IIRC possibly even a long stretch of time where they were isolated. And yet they're not extinct. Sorry, but saying "we protected them just like we protect pandas" doesn't account for this, unless you're suggesting they were saved by time travellers (maybe even ones with flying blue police boxes)?

This argument reminds me of a trick gun control advocates like to use, where they try to prove gun control works by showing crime statistics that only account for gun-related violence but conveniently leave out all other types of crime. Or in your case, you're focusing exclusively on the US (and on the parts that have high crime rates) and trying to say this somehow proves biological predeterminism.

You yourself pointed out that there's practically no law enforcement in these communities. That makes me see this as a chicken-or-egg scenario. It's entirely possible that these places have high crime precisely because enforcement is so lax, rather than "they realized it was pointless and stopped trying."

I went to an all-white school (I grew up in the south) and I know from experience that white people aren't angels. Especially when there's lax enforcement or blatant favoritism at play.

Just thought I'd re-quote this in case you try to memory hole it. You were first to make the argument that law enforcement just gave up, just you're trying to phrase it as "they gave up because they realized these people were natural criminals." All I'm doing is pointing out there's room to read this scenario the other way around.

I haven't even looked into whether anything you've said is even true yet, I'm only working with the scenario you yourself handed out and pointing out the issues with your own narrative.

I pointed out, somewhere in that very topic, that this theory makes no sense for the same reason Kender (a race from a D&D setting) make no sense, as 1d6chan explains here. It's very similar to the arguments I've been making above though: basically, if black people really do have the biologically predetermined shortcomings that racists like to claim they do, they should not have survived even five generations (and that is being generous).

You can even test this yourself, in Minecraft (as in, the actual game--not a metaphor for anything): Start a new world, put it on "Hardcore" mode, then play your character as if he really does act like a white supremacist's idea of a black person--anyone you meet you have to kill because you're biologically disposed towards crime, you can't build anything beyond wooden tools or any structure more complex than a mud hut, and any task that would take longer than ten minutes you must give up on.

I think “saar” is cause Indians tend to be overly formal in speech, and their accents make “sir” sound like “saar”. “Do the needful” is a common way for English speaking Indians to say “Do what needs to be done”.

Josh unlocked the thread after less than half a day over some ribbing meanwhile the Metokur thread, which is filled with on-topic discussion, remains locked. He dares the thread's posters to keep pushing him. They will and he won't do anything about it. He won't do anything about celebrating child rape, he won't do anything about open flagging and gayops, and a little over a week ago he flat out admitted he won't be moderating the Destiny thread at all.
