There's an aspect to this I've not seen anyone point out before, so I may as well.
People are missing the desperation that is the foundation of all of these little upsets of Josh: he wants to feel validated for the farms in the mainstream, and so desperately wants a redemption arc because he know his life is utterly and absolutely fucked without it.
Null isn't doing this purely to spite Tom; he could have done that a thousand times; he's doing these things because he's absolutely gripping at the wall to have some kind of positive PR about the farms.
He wanted this scandal to be the "omg guys see these poor women felt there was no where else they could expose their abuser!! see my website SHOULD exist and IS good and I AM also good, right guys? I can show my face in public again, right???"
He's very aware that the people on the Internet who post on forums like Kiwi farms are growing up and growing less patient with retard shit. He wanted the farms to be seen as a bastion of freespeech, however the issue with that are those who genuinely believe in free speech normally either compose two groups: complete unsocialised retards, or extremely principled and traditional people; the latter of which is very quickly growing tired of Null's tantrums and pissing away of money. Josh is the opposite of what most traditionalists believe as ideal, and Josh's ownership and how much of a weird cunt he is puts a majority of potential users off from audiences he'd want to acquire. He is a lonely loser too afraid to leave his home most of the time, has no wife or kids, no ownership, no connection to God, and no connection to any community around him: he is the foreigner pretending he hasn't spent years in a foreign nation as a parasite.
It's also not surprise he's so salty at Elon -- Elon swooped in and has slowly been cucking every thing Null has been a brokie and virgin broke dick without even accomplishing: free'd a major platform to have free speech without the spergery of the farms, and Elon literally has his own private Internet with starlink.
The Kiwifarms' is dying, slowly but surely. Null is aware of it. He's aware eventually his users are going to have families or careers or lives to lead and eventually stop caring about the farms, and all he's left with are the utter concentration of losers and mongs with no jobs.
It's not like Josh even has much of a personality for people to cling to. He did when he was younger and so was the farms, but ultimately he's an unsocialised drooling mong with no life experience, he has done NOTHING in 35 years.
That's what all of this is about, not just simpery or spiting Tom.
