Looking at the times those were posted, it seems like he made that Twitter post just because The Lawgiver (a user Null does not like for some reason) said he thought people were being hysteric over the model. He's been very manic in who he's threatening and lashing out at in the past month.

It's not even a loli model, it's a chibi model.
While chibi characters are similar to lolicon and shotacon due to their short size, the main difference is that a chibi character can be of adult age in its lore canon where as lolicon and shotacon characters are almost exclusively because they are underage in canon (the Pokemon games use chibi versions of the in-canon adult characters so it's not exactly lolicon or shotacon for that matter; unless Jersh and the Kiwis want to make the argument that Professor Oak is a shotacon character because of his chibi model despite him being an adult character in the Pokemon canon).
For Christ's sake, Mister Metokur once used a chibi persona of himself back when he used to do more videos for his The /x/ Files series (a series of videos where Jim mocked stupid supernatural shit that only complete morons would believe in such as tulpas, Flat Earth, and skinwalkers).

You need someone with a Japanese mail address to get a .jp domain. As Kiwi Farms has highlighted, Japan has some peculiar libel laws that one Taiwanese tranny who immigrated to Japan is exploiting to sue a journalist. You see, in Japan a tranny can legally change their gender if they get surgically mutilated, and once they do, then they have a case against you if you misgender them. Kiwi Farms has a thread on that aforementioned Taiwanese tranny and on a few other lolcows who are long-time residents of Japan.
This seems like another Vinny Zhen situation waiting to happen. I would not want to be Josh's agent in an area that lacked a 1st Amendment and good anti-SLAPP laws. Jim Watkins and Gookmoot had to involve themselves in all sorts of shady things to run their JP imageboards without getting legally fucked over by Japanese courts.

I've actually forgotten about Japan's anti-defamation laws.
I think in Japan you can get sued for "Tarnishing an person's Honor" thus making Japan having the most broad anti-defamation laws in the world.
Imagine if Jersh does get sued and inevitably loses in court (it is extremely difficult to beat an anti-defamation case in Japan). He can never set foot in Japan because otherwise the Japanese authorities would arrest him at the airport for not paying what he owes.
It be like how the owner of The Daily Stormer (Andrew Anglin) can never set foot in Montana ever again because there is still a warrant out for his arrest in that state because to this day he still refuses to pay what he owes to the Jewish lady that he doxed and harassed (he lost a defamation and harassment suit in Montana and thus he can never show his face in that state ever again).
So Jersh is risking his chance of ever visiting Japan over Kiwi Farms lol.
Most European countries and I believe Canada as well has a loser pays provision. Basically, if you sue someone and you lose you have to pay their legal fees. It is intended to curb lawsuit abuse.
I think the Japanese court system works differently. If you want to sue someone in civil court you must first pay the court a fee depending on the amount you are trying to sue someone for. But then again, I could be incorrect about this.
