I've been cutting down on the active posting over there as of late, and have been just shitposting for the most part. Only time I serious post is in the gaming section of the forum. Otherwise I just browse and rate.

Really hasn't been anything that warrants me putting my two-cents in.

The gaming section was the best part of the site. Though now its more of a ghost town. Really sucks to put in all that effort to make sfw fanart just to be banned on a whim by jewsh and trombonista.

The gaming section can basically be boiled down to this:
  • Game/Console get's mentioned in a thread or has a new thread made for it
  • Half the posters are critical of it because of A/B/C reason
  • Other half is praising it because of X/Y/Z reason
  • Infighting ensues, mostly due to the praisers getting angry at the criticals that they aren't buying/supporting the game and/or dared to bring up emulation/pirating as an alternative.
 
I love that effectively that mod that just called him a pedo just got away with it, Josh isn't going to do a fucking thing about it and you'd have to be a retard to use "talk to staff" when based on their own stickers in the thread, they'd side against him too, it would have been a quiet permaban instead of a temp one, meaning he too did the right thing. it reminds me of trying to talk to the r/srs side of reddit, all smug bullshit and a hatred of stuff redditors enjoyed in 2014.

its about PR, thats why he is having that journalist make an asspatting article about the site, he thinks its been so many years since christchurch and #dropkiwifarms that he can make the site appealing to normies. effectively he's going to have articles made that make kiwifarms look good, and go "see we have nothing to hide" and because he has been nuking any of the more troublesome 5+ year old accounts before the rebrand he'll get away with it

Mind you at this point X, TikTok, and Instagram are all less likely to ban you than fucking kiwifarms over content.

I don't think he's trying to appeal to normies, he's trying to court the specific type of online right winger who hates niggers and trannies but thinks TERF's are based. Believe it or not, that group is not as small as you'd think.

the problem is that the "TERFs are based" segment only likes them in the abstract, like JK Rowling. Once you actually have to be around them it usually tends to end up like whats going on currently, which is just what naturally happens to any hobby that embraces women.

its also why the "alt-light" failed vs the "alt-right", Null's going to be kicking himself once he realizes that women are way less likely to donate to his site vs men.

its easy to get someone to give $5 one time, especially women. but reoccurring payments tends to lead to you going back to men. literally look at paytreon.

And based on that its obvious that the "male hate thread" people are rocking that way more than the "women hate thread" or plenty of other parts of the site.

It was the Christchurch shooting that was the beginning of the end for Kiwi Farms. It got new blood into the site who started morphing it into right-wing Reddit. Now today it really is opposite Reddit, where troons are bashed instead of worshipped, everyone pretends to be a Christian tradchad who hates porn instead of Bible bashing atheists who love sex work, and Trump is the only God in this universe instead of being Hitler. I see no recovery beside Null finally collapsing from his obese lifestyle.
