I'll give the Kiwis this, they're at least acknowledging that overusing the word 'Pedophile' (especially in context where the word is not warranted) will only make things worse by downplaying the term.
We live in a world where people overuse terms all the time to describe people they don't like (usually for stupid reasons); if you've been involved with the culture wars then you're probably familiar with how Leftists on the Internet overuse words like 'Racist', 'Misogynist', 'Fascist', 'Bigot', 'Homophobic', 'Transphobic', 'Ableist', and the list goes on. Those terms that I just listed are so overused now that they've become background noise that hardly anyone cares about anymore. It's like white noise on an old school television set where you don't really care about the static and snow you see and hear from said television set because it's gibberish to you (much like how words like 'Racist' and 'Fascist' are now gibberish to many people because those terms have become so overused at this point now).
Unfortunately the word 'Pedophile' is now joining the list of overused buzzterms on the Internet because now and days I see way too many retards on the Internet use the word 'Pedophile' to describe someone they just don't like (usually out of petty reasons) and that is dangerous because if the word 'Pedophile' joins words like 'Fascist' or 'Misogynist' as far as overused buzzterms go then not only will the term be watered down but that is a great disservice to the victims of child sexual abuse. If someone is going to call anyone a pedophile then they better have solid and indisputable evidence because otherwise they're just a mitwit retard seeking attention by that point.
