Trump's silly 'Gulf of America' EO only applies to political maps being used by branches of the government (so the military, the NOAA, federal land, national parks, beaches, islands, geological surveys, that sort of thing).
Any private corporations that make maps and globes along with various international bodies are not going to recognize the 'Gulf of America' name because they are not obligated to do so and for obvious reasons it's fucking retarded.
I guess you can say this is like Trump's own version of Millhouse. If anyone remembers how 4chan was like back in the day, some of their anons tried to make Millhouse a meme and many told them to fuck off because it was forced and annoying.
