The difference is that men had no choice in the matter for far too long, as it’s always the woman who had the last word, so men just resigned to not having that much control.

Might have to be without writing a book, but my personal take is mother's choice any time any reason in first trimester, after that the fetus's right to live takes precedence. Only exception after first trimester would be if is was later found carrying the child to term would result in grave physical harm to the mother.

I wasn’t trying to make a point for or against abortion bans.
I was pointing out how in every post and mention, the spotlight is on women, what they want and what their motive is (“ability to have casual sex”?) - yet men apparently aren’t supposed to have a say because they have no uterus, in reality men either way never had a proper say, even though they are also impacted quite significantly.

Yet the same women who now have a problem with restrictions around abortions, never voiced concerns about men not having any decision rights.
That aspect is very rarely mentioned or addressed.

It’s a double edged sword and I can’t help but always remember this video when the topic comes up:
