I was in Japan once and saw little kids lose their shit in public spaces and I'd consider Japanese parents better than Western ones. Children are unpredictable and will melt down and cry at the drop of a hat.

Never disputed this, instead I am saying that the hatefulness of society is driving parents to use unhealthy and bad measures because they're frightened of what other people will do to them if they don't.

Poor countries don't raise their children to adult hood, they just kill them and sell them to European pedophiles lmao.

Yeah my girl is hardcore anti-abortion because she's a Buddhist, and my stance is kind of like "my body my choice" is what got me through the pandemic without having to get that experimental sludge shot into my arm, and so now we don't talk about abortion anymore.

Well yea, but American parents don't even try to discipline their kid in public. Making a spectacle of yourself in public is social suicide, but I think even they are okay with it as long as the parent do something to calm the kid down.
