They were actual friends for awhile. They did a few streams together and I think Balldo did some very minor legal work for him. Then Balldo started drinking and doing coke. Apparently at some point around Dec of last year, Balldo called and/or was texting him from his shower or bathroom or something and they got into a huge argument. Neither one of them have ever said exactly what it was about, so I don't know, however after that the friendship was over. They have both been acting like vindictive jilted lovers towards each other ever since.
For Null, it literally is personal and why he goes after Balldo even if it means he steps on rake after rake over this.
