I suspect Captain Manning wouldn't lie like that unless Emp lied to him directly. Something I uncovered last year was that her account was deleted almost a full year after the hack which is strange because Josh was accepting it for maybe a month or two after the hack but Emp chose until the middle of next year to ask Josh to delete her account.
