Josh has a fanbase because he successfully presented Kiwi Farms as the "last bastion of free speech on the Internet" and the "last remnant of the old Internet" and being that laid back community that does not clench pearls over gamer words. Not just that, but he actively defended his website against some really loathsome people like government censors, Keffals, and Liz Fong Jones. Telling people like that to fuck off feels inherently satisfying.

Unfortunately, Josh has moved away from the former position and now believes that only pedophiles want free speech. He still does the latter, but he has burned every bridge and not a single person of importance will hear him out when he tries to raise awareness about debanking or online censorship because he is well-known as an utter lunatic. Therefore he is left with a dwindling community that just wants to say niggerfaggot all day while stepping on eggshells so really just Green Reddit.

i might be in the minority here but i like the site and "most of" the users ive ever interacted with. theyre fun and kinda based.

i dont wander into most of the places that people complain about (A&N or BP) and ive never encountered most of the posters being mentioned on onionfarms. the few that i have (Toji for example) I always liked and i missed whatever conflicts came up here.

i got banned for being "a sock" , its just a fucking humorous nickname, i wasnt running multiple accounts or socks or evading a ban. i had just simply lost the domain name on my KF email for "abuse" and there went my original KF account and all my Green Reddit karma. I'm still there. Now I do run socks and I do dispose of their bodies after few days or weeks. Good luck ever getting rid of me, I'll show motherfuckers what sockpuppetry even is.

It's why I think Kiwi Farms is on its death bed.

I'm pretty sure the Internet will achieve its goals to stop online censorship being done by hostile governments and corporate bullies that think they can tell people what to do.

But even if and when the Internet does stop online censorship, Kiwi Farms will likely be dead by then because most people are simply not going to be interested in a platform that is the embodiment of the 'No Fun Allowed' meme. There will always be websites like Kiwi Farms but it's just a quesiton of when the free market will do its thing where someday a real competitor to Kiwi Farms shows up and makes Kiwi Farms as dead as ED by then.
