I believe this was part of Josh's courting to get Dick to allow him on his invite only NP2 service, plus Dick was very popular at the time with people in that circle, so it doubly behooved Josh to act very friendly with him. Though, it would be funnier is Josh was a full on Dick simp. That would be way funnier.

Yeah, but they were mainly linked to his autistic moderation of the threads and retarded defense of dick. I don't remember any meltdowns over the fight not happening though. I was replying to that post in particular, not the entire event which as I have harped on several times, included the ben drama which was really fucked.

You mean the one where he decided to dox this user because they were posting pictures of Marie? And that it was just fairplay because they were trying to dox someone and not at all because Josh was in full assfury trying to defend Dick to the bitter end.

The one where he tried to dox a user using ip geo-location information that was only available to him as the admin of Kf, because his lolcow friend was mad at said user for disproving a claim made by said lolcow, yes.

Always use a vpn on any site josh hosts.

Oh and don't forget, the user ended up being doxed, without josh's help at all, and the lolcow was right about his identity and it changed nothing about anything he was saying. So not only did josh try to massively violate the privacy of one of his users, but he did so without reason (as no one actually cared other than dick) and without need (as it was done without his help).

Edit: I misremembered this, he only asked for a bunch of personal information on the user and looked through their post history. He never explicitly used any IP information to confirm the identity of the user, but people were asking him too and he was asking questions like "what state does ben live in" which seemed completely irrelevant to just post history. He still tried to dox one of his own users, just didn't use any IP information to do so before others were able to without his help.

Ironically, it was very very easy to find those pictures of Marie if you had been following The Dick Show. Everyone knew the Maddox breakup was over 80's Girl, who was Maddox's ex, and Dick had openly mentioned she was a schoolteacher.

Then you just look at the acknowledgements section of Crappy Children's Art, Maddox's book that came out around the timeframe when he would have been dating 80's Girl:

Then you punch that name right into Google, and what do you find? A website that talks about her being a schoolteacher, with her picture and all. That didn't require any kinda serious shit like looking up voting registrations or anything, I just googled a name from a book.

He's just fixated on me for months for whatever bizarre reason. I don't dislike the guy (or even really interacted with him) but his need to constantly try to contradict what I'm saying even though he himself clearly agreed with everything I've said/documented is getting a bit creepy.

The 80s girl thing about her being a camwhore was interesting in that things associated with any of her usernames were clearly scrubbed and were actively being scrubbed as the thread progressed. Dick was absolutely losing his shit over it, which was entertaining. It was an eventual dead end but I don't see what the big deal is regardless. It's literally the nature of the site to look into things like that based on the most minor of rumors.

Yes Null did the same thing to Ben that he did to me. He just verified general location of the IP coming in with the general location of Ben. In this case they matched. He often uses this to identify socks, most well known being Bryan Dunn (KoP). I didn't see that as a huge deal. The carrying on and threatening to ban people who were ex-fans of Dick for "spreading misinformation" was next level troll shielding however.

Its the idea that he would do so both without permission and to a literal nobody accused of being another literal nobody that's bothersome.

Do not give any personally identifying information to a person who is willing to use that information against you. Josh at one point tried to make it seem like he respected user's privacy saying some autistic shit about how he "protects [his] flock." That is clearly not the case and people should know that. Don't touch KF without a vpn.

She would still text him while with Dax and it made him seethe, So Dax and Marie temporarily broke up and when they got back together Dax forced her to take her cat (who was a gift from Mark) to the pound where it was presumably killed.

So Dax has a fear of getting his gf stolen by the same man who stole Lisa from Johnny.
