I have personally never seen Destiny play a 4x strategy game. What is a 4x game? Turn-based strategy that focuses on exploration, expansion, exploitation, and extermination. Basically Civilization. Some of the most fun I've ever had is playing the 4x strategy games Age of Wonders 1, Age of Wonders 2, and Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic. These are turn-based strategy with roleplaying elements.
