Perhaps. It's just how I feel about it, personally. If you still find something to enjoy in it, enjoy it. But, for me, I think the magic's gone.
Its been building up since before the election. The thing is now that we are mostly stuck inside, and the available means to clean your plate and calm down have decreased. At least after the 2016 election I could go outside and jog without the possibility of getting sick from a contagious virus or getting fined for not having a mask.

6 years ago gay marriage was still illegal in the US and everyone defended Colbert's right to say racist things about chinks; the marketplace of ideas have shifted so goddamn much, and each year it gets worse. the last time 6 years were that big of a difference it was the years 1939 to 1945. the difference between 2013 and 2023 might as well be as huge as the one from 1932 and 1942.
