I am gonna reply to you here, since this is kinda off-topic in the Joshua Moon thread.

Nyk has "won" in the sense that he helped get Trump re-elected by making troons seem as obnoxious, narcissistic, misogynistic and contemptible as possible to the general public. I know he aggressively refuses to take any responsibility for his portrayal of trans people but we all know the truth: countless of women peaktransed after watching a ContraPoints video and began to become suspicious of troons, even if they were previously TRA handmaidens, because of all the misogynistic bullshit Nyk was saying in his videos.

Remember that chart that came out a while back where Media Matters compared all the big conservative Youtubers with all the big lefty Youtubers? Nyk's Youtube channel is so tiny, it wasn't even on that chart! The big lefty Youtubers are Trevor Noah and Brian Tyler Cohen, not ContraPoints.

The rest of Nyk's audience are likely people who hate troons and only hate-watch Nyk the way I used to do when I was still active in the ContraPoints thread on KF.

The fact is that Nyk's channel rose to fame during the first Trump admin. Nyk for years was known as "the trans Youtuber fighting the fash", that's how he was presented in the mainstream media every time he was being interviewed. Nyk at first said he was gonna leave the US if Trump got re-elected, but Nyk remembers that he made most of his money as a content creator because of Trump, so he did the math and realized it was much more profitable to stay in the US and make more videos about Trump and the conservatives than to leave and hide away in Canada with Theryn. Nyk's latest video on conspiracy theories has 3 and a half million views now. Nyk is "winning" in that he continues to make troons seem obnoxious, delusional and contemptible to a hate-watching audience. As long as the general public has an overall negative view of troons, Nyk will continue making money from disaffected Democrats who want to virtue signal what big TRAs they are by supporting Nyk.

In case you're unaware, Nyk posts a list of topics on his Patreon every month, and the pay piggies get to vote on the topic for the next month, then Nyk spends a month making a video essay on that topic. Those monthly video essays on Patreon aren't as elaborate and performative as his yearly videos which take months to write, shoot and edit.

I checked Oliver's Bsky blocklist and he's blocking 198 people, amongst whom are Peter Coffin, Brianna Wu, UK journalist James Ball and an account titled "Gaza Is Our Dachau"... but Nyk isn't one of them, so this is definitely not a mutual block. Nyk is shunning Oliver on Bsky but Oliver is not returning the favour:

I've been going through Oliver's past 3 months of BSes and I can't for the life of me find what it was that he BSed that angered Nyk so much that he finally blocked him.

Like I said, Oliver and Nyk had both been on BS since 2023, they had peacefully coexisted there all this time, but something apparently happened this April in 2025 that was the final straw for Nyk.

1) Is it because Oliver is now Bsky-friends with Vera Drew and is retweeting Vera's BSes now? Vera Drew said in 2019 interview that he originally wanted to work with Nyk, but that collab obviously never happened, because Nyk doesn't do collabs. If Nyk never wanted to work with Vera Drew anyways, why would he be envious if Oliver did?

2) Here Oliver mentions "a galpal of mine in the US" who sent him a thirst pic... was it Nyk? Maybe Nyk did sent Oliver a thirst pic and this BS made him anxious that Oliver was going to leak it, or reveal they were talking to one another again?

4) Then there is this BS where Oliver visited Newport Beach in California to accept some award. Nyk said he's is often in LA because a lot of his friends are there and at one point even considered moving to LA to be closer to his friends. Maybe Oliver got wind of Nyk being in LA at the time of the awards session, so he decided to send Nyk an invitation, but Nyk couldn't handle watching his ex-boyfriend accept awards for something Nyk had instigated in him, so he blocked Oliver over the invitation?
