I think Null is able to see DM's but he doesn't bother doing anything about them unless he's directly added to the DM chain.

Null can read DMs directly from the database, as that's stored in plain text, but not straight from the forum.
Unless a specific message is reported in a DM to the Jannies, no one can read DMs they aren't invited to.
That is all in default Xenforo.

However, there are Xenforo addons to notify Staff when certain words are mentioned in a DM (for example, Direct Message Monitor).
There's also add ons for an admin to directly log in as a user where they would be able to see any DMs (such as Login as User).
It wouldn't shock me in the slightest if Null added one of these addons.

if null's not just spitballing numbers and everything he says is true that means in the last 6 months posts have dropped by about half in the worst case scenario, either way it means that people are being so private because they can't shoot their shit in chat or off topic threads without fear of being attacked. Which also means Null has a massive problem because he's pushing the site to be more of a general off topic style forum.

This made me laugh so hard, I have gone on record and swore that Nulls hissyfits would do no long-term damage to the other farms, looks like I was mistaken. Sometimes it's fun to admit when you were wrong.

I'm not gonna derail the thread but the Scott Snyder writing arcs on Batman have been the best stuff in years. I just downloaded a CBR of 'Absolute Batman' to check it out. I'm not scared to check something out, unlike Joshua. Whether you like it or not, the point is that Moon spits in his audience's faces when they earnestly recommend him something in the comic or video game field.

It's safe to just assume he has access to any DM chain he wants to read. Assume you are being watched. I know this bc I once messaged a suspicious account that was trolling in a thread to try to get more info from the person who knew private stuff about the subject. That account got banned the next day, and my account along with it. I think sometimes, Moon just assumes that anyone that touches a suspicious account is in cahoots with the account or a sock of it and just bans all of them, like they have been infected by a zombie virus merely by touching the account.

Josh says the site hasn't grown since "Drop KF." This makes sense as Drop KF was basically a big publicity stunt driven by libtards like Keffals to try to shut the site down. Even negative publicity is still free publicity, which is going to drive people to the site regardless. Without a big publicity stunt every 6 months to galvanize people to the Farms, they stay quarantined as a tight-knit ghetto of 3-4K signed-in users. Now add in Moon's awful moderation and he just bleeds out the small group he has corralled on the site. He probably thinks he's big enough that he can just ban hundreds per month and get away with it. But there is not enough new users coming in to replace them. He should be grateful for any single user on his site he but takes it all for granted. And he is responsible for all of his growing alogs.

You know, this is all starting to remind me of 8moe (i.e. Mark /v/'s 8ch replacement). They too once had a growth spurt after o.g. 8ch became 8kun because of how fucking god-awful it became, but then that place started to get too giddy with the ban-hammer as well... to the point where they had created their own boogeyman ( Niggerpill / Luciano ). Last time I browsed that place, they had the brilliant idea to welcome in 4chan refuges and AFAIK whatever users from 4chan made their way to 8kun said the place sucked and told Mark to fuck off (which sounds eerie similar to Josh inviting the soyjacks and then getting told to fuck off by them). Now it's just a select few faggots yelling at each other while Mark flops around like a fish out of water doing any desperate thing he can to "grow the site". That's not even getting into the pedo problem they supposedly have.

All of this is ironic, btw, as Josh and Mark hate each other, but in a way they are both more similar than they like to admit. It's fucking wild how the so-called "leaders" of the past are just gigantic fucking jokes in the present.

the absolute series in general is a bit of a joke to people because its basically nostalgia bait for the worst of the edge of the 90s. "what if wonder woman was raised in hell" and stuff like that. if you saw that picture of captain america by rob liefeld and thought "awesome!" instead of laughing then that art is for you.

the hook on the absolute stuff is pretty good but it has the problem i see in a lot of western comics where its obvious that they change so much stuff that its barely the original concept and while the stories are good, imagine if we had the view of comics that japan has and stories could stand on their own.

I think you're misunderstanding him, he's not saying he'd hide any personal information on his family, he's saying that he'd put his wife and child's personal information online himself to try and get someone who hates him to try and harm them so he can kill said hater.
 
I genuinely think Null is starting to lose it a bit. He's edging towards a mid-life crisis and while people go and enjoy whatever thing or fantasy they've always wanted to do, what will Null do other than self destruct?

And with the money he is paid, he should have someone else run the website, like the fella who made Resetera, never posted, then sold it out from the users feet for £5 million then fucked off into the sunset.

By mental breakdown, suicide or growing a fucking brain, I can't see Josh running KF much longer. One more big DDoS and I can see him selling or just killing himself.

Kiwifarms gets DDoS'd all the time. You mean a Keffals or Vordrak situation where the site goes down fully, maybe. Personally I think Keffals was worse for him considering corpos and providers like Cogent and Cloudflare were involved.
