This will sound controversial but the repeal of Net Neutrality is actually a good thing. You actually want competition in the tech world and you don't want a few ISPs to have a monopoly on proving an Internet service. The only thing I can agree with Net Neutrality in principle is that ISPs shouldn't act as the gatekeepers of the Internet but this can easily be solved through the free market, no government intervention needed.

Take Comcast as an example. Nobody likes Comcast, they are complete shit but the only reason why they are still around is because of state and federal laws and regulations that grant a shitty ISP like Comcast a bunch of subsidies to practically have a monopoly over this market. Now if some new startup ISP shows up and offers a better service than Comcast, then naturally people are going to sign up for the new and better ISP and leave Comcast in the dust.

You want competition in the tech world. Don't believe me? Look at the conversation people are making about operating systems these days. A few years ago, most never considered Linux as an option because of the lack of video game support and not that many productivity apps available for Linux to justify the switch. But with Microsoft making Windows more and more shitty in recent years (Windows 10 was mediocre and nobody likes Windows 11), more people are now considering making the switch to Linux because Linux is shown to be much more secure due to its open-source nature, Windows-based games run better on Linux due to Linux having little to no bloat running in the background depending on the distro, some tech devs are now considering porting their productivity apps to Linux due to rise in consumer interest, no annoying forced updates, and you don't have to pay with real money for a stupid product key because most Linux distros are free of charge.

The main issue I have with Net Neutrality is that it gives already existing ISPs more monopoly power and giving less incentive for any new potential startups to compete with the tech giants.

Having competition is healthy for the tech industry and you don't want any laws and regulations that heavily favor only big corporations. But Jersh was never literate in basic economics anyway.

I think the 'Stop Killing Games' movement is a very noble cause and everyone should support it because it isn't just about video games, it's about expanding the power of media preservation in general.

I do think video game preservation is very important because greedy companies like Nintendo, Sony, Activision, and so on have the unethical habit of pulling support for their games after they have milked them for every cent that they're worth and sometimes said video games become lost media afterwards. So I do support the 'Stop Killing Games' movement because I'm a firm advocate for media preservation.

With that said, let's be real here. Jersh doesn't care about video games, he just cares about his barely functioning website getting more attention. Yes, PirateSoftware is a laughable cringelord but Jersh doesn't care about video game preservation, he just cares about A-Logging a lolcow because Jersh is an attention seeker and he needs more paypig money to keep his barely functioning website from sinking to the bottom of the ocean.
