Josh spends a retardedly huge amount of money operating KF alone. The most recent information from the "Biting The Hand That Feeds" thread lists $750 a month for the colocation contract + $2000 a year for the ASN/IP range. From those two figures alone he's spending $916 a month on the forums technical expenses, of course assuming he isn't lying, and he's also got Cloudfare + other random costs like HW failures and possibly 3rd party services. I'll tack on $50 a month for those. He doesn't have a job because he's too stubborn to flip burgers, so what he gets from people also finances his apartment + basic needs. For the sake of this argument I'll write $500 a month as the cost for his food + apartment. He sits inside all day so I'm not considering any external expenditures.
That's $1,466 a month. That's his entire Patreon gone plus a few hundred more, and I don't think he's getting too many T&Hs anymore.
He's mentioned moving into crypto a few times and probably gets help from CrunkLord420 with that for free. I remember a few months ago hearing someone say that he got a $10,000 donation in BTC from someone, but I haven't seen evidence of it yet, although its certainly not impossible with the amount of brainwashed servants he's got on KF. He did say he spent $20,000, his life savings, supporting the forum through 2016-19, a time of attacks from Vordy, which is believable. He owns numerous domains + servers aside from KF that easily cost a few hundred dollars alone. 9chan and 16chan included.

There is a very suspicious thing I noticed and didn't bring up earlier, and that's price inconsistency. In the first post above, he lists the subnet as $1,500 and the colocation $500, yet in a post 7-8 months later lists them as $2,000 and $750 respectively. That's a $750 increase without any justification given, and I personally believe he's lying about it to guilt people out of donations.

Wait, how does patreon pay him out exactly? He literally cannot own a bank account legally. Hes banned. Last time I checked, you have to add some form of bank information for Patreon to pay out your monthly donations.
