Imagine if part of the game was just making sure she was charged and you stopped at a thing in the wall which is like a medkit :)
Instead of her needing to "constantly charge" which literally no wireless device on the planet so far before the invention of Diana needed.
But then she would be wearing shoes instead of going barefoot, not even wearing shorts underneath her skirt...
If you find this weird, then why defend the game?
You could... put something underneath her skirt I mean she is a child. Just saying. As a parent you would cover your child, if they are prone to sitting like this and so on...

Okay if it's NOT to do with children's feet why is the final boss also this child character. If it's about "protecting" children why is the main enemy that concludes the boss fight also a barefoot little girl. You actually kill one in the end... So is the design really about bringing out "Paternal instincts"? Why are both the main characters barefoot little girls, good and evil?

You people started the wall of text about Pragmata thing. I tried to avoid it for as long as I could but now I just see that you people will side against Josh no matter what. Why defend this weird-ass game so hard? It's embarrassing to just be contrarian no matter what. How can you deny that this is not clearly a story line that completely revolves around children's feet? The entire space station is a tactile charging point for feet. The final boss battle is when another little barefoot girl shows up.

The fact that the Android isn't a "real child" and is technically some "ageless being" is the oldest excuse in the world for weird fucks who sexualise these sorts of appearances. It's an interesting "story line feature".
