For all of the bloviating about this KF used to do, they were never impartial at any point since the start of the culture wars. They were always hating trannies and non-whites and gays and supporting almost every right wing view imaginable, despite numerous attempts by left leaning users to stop it. ICE is a set up.
They roll in with 20+ vehicles, armed to the teeth, right where protesters already know where they're going to be, they cause a fuss, make some nice footage for the news, and grab a handful of illegals at most.
America has 10+ million illegals in the country, you would need 10s of thousands deported daily to be anywhere near that number before trump supposedly ends his tenure.
The whole thing is performative. Notice that it's happening in the state with the worst fraud in american history?
That wasn't, or isn't the issue. The issue is that the place has become too tribal. There's nothing wrong with having right, left, centre or extreme views, as long it is kept in the correct thread and doesn't spill out all over.
The irony is, for all of the big talk Null gives about kicking out unwanted desirables who don't fit in, he let redditors flood in, didn't keep the forum decorum correct and never moderated or gatekept when he should have done.
I don't care that people lick the balls of, or want to chop the balls off of, trump, as long as it stays in the USPG thread, but to have the hatred or worship (of anyone, not just trump) spill out into every fucking thread is just insufferable.
You can't even talk openly about any subject even close to america without it becoming repeating posts "trump gud for reasons" "trump bad for reasons" "brits bad". The website is inherently boring and that's what kills every site.

I really don't think the debate over the "performative" parts of the situation is really what it is about.

Surely it raises eyebrows that anybody can be an ice agent, armed, then sent into a hostile area with the backing of the government? They're a state sanctioned militia, regardless of whether or not their mission is beneficial or not to the country.

I think he moved back because he saw Trump win and fell for all the bullshit Trump voters were saying about him making America enter into a golden age free of brown people. I think he left for America back in December of 2024 so the timeline matches up.
