He was incredibly influential to the development of the alt-right media space. He inspired many successful youtubers that came after him and he also exposed The Daily Shoah to a wider audience of Youtube normies. I was a teen exploring my sexuality when I first listened to CF's podcast; he was foundational to my personal discovery. I was completely ignorant of the fetishes and paraphilias CF obsessed over, and I can't express in words how grateful I am for his help in unmasking my true desires as someone who grew up in an ultra-conservative state that lacked progressive sex ed.

Like MDE and Woes, CF had an artist's approach to his work. Everything he produced was consistent and had a cohesive aesthetic. It was hard not to notice his work. If you weren't there for the san-serif lower-case 'cf' pre logo change, you missed out. Common Filth was the Velvet Underground of late 2010's right-wing comedy, which is currently having a comeback.
