What I find especially funny is that Josh's baby, the Kiwi Farms is over. Or is at least past its prime and on the way downhilll. When Josh thinks about "Drop Kiwi Farms" with Keffals, that was the most stressful time for him as he woke up every day and dealt with new issues and new providers dropping him every day, and him trying to find solutions to new problems. But that was actually his peak when he was most relevant. The apex. The top of the mountain. And the only place to go when you're on the top, is down. So when a couple years pass and the Kiwi Farms continues its slow bleed-out, Josh will eventually look back on DropKF with nostalgia as the good ol' days when he was relevant and the site was getting media coverage and so much attention, even if it was negative attention. Josh thinks he's gonna jolt the site back to life using cheap publicity stunts and going on bigger podcasts but it's not gonna work. You had your time in the sun, your 15 minutes of fame, however brief they were, and you will never recapture that.

At any time in the day, there are 1800-3800 KF users. Most of those aren't even logged in so they are just casual readers in a thread. Basically a lot of these are people that left this site open as a browser tab while reading a thread in their internet browser. Not hardcore users that post. You're barely scrapping together 2K-4K people and you are very lucky to have those, despite poor leadership and squandering them all away. And taking them all for granted and constantly trying to cycle them out for new groups to grow the Farms. You're an ungrateful prick and you are the sole reason the Farms is dying and irrelevant. 2K people (at the site's lowest points in the day) is really nothing. Especially when you consider how many people are in America (300 million) or even the world 8 billion. If you can barely scrape together 2K from the world's internet presence, are you even trying? What exactly do you offer the world? A shitty podcast and you host a website about lolcows, which basically means Youtubers. Yeah join the club. Lots of people have shitty podcasts and are trying to make an easy grift for themselves and want a lot of money for little effort. You're not special.

And it doesn't matter how hard you aggressively monetize the Farms on its deathbed, trying to milk its users for every dollar as it bleeds out. A death spiral is still a death spiral. Yeah, you might be able to squeeze the paypigs for a couple more scam gofundme's but people have their limits.

No real genuine healthy woman would go out of her way to include the factoid "buying chad sperm at the sperm bank" to deliberately specify there is no sex involved in conception, unless >she is revealing >her fetish.

If there is one thing that Jersh and Keemstar have in common is that they're both washed up hasbeens.

Jersh is running a dying lolcow forum because Jersh is a toxic individual that is stuck in the past. Same thing with Keemstar where he's now a balding 40 year old loser where instead of being with his family, he still thinks it's the early-2010's and he still thinks he's relevant and his shitty podcast Lolcow Live has made what is left of his fanbase lose respect for him.

If Kiwi Farms shuts down tomorrow, hardly anyone on the Internet would notice. Sure people would talk about it for a bit which would become a trending topic for a month and then move on and it becomes a footnote of Internet history like Encylopedia Dramatica. I remember when LeafyIsHere got banned from Youtube, it was a hot topic for a while and now hardly anyone remembers him anymore. Most millennials have since stopped caring about Leafy and Zoomers don't give a shit about Leafy. It be the same with Kiwi Farms where when the day finally comes that Kiwi Farms closes its doors for good, hardly anyone would notice like dust being blown away in the wind.
 
People don't seem to mention Null's failed weight loss journey as much as they should. the fact that JessePS as a joke got null to admit to being 250 pounds is insane. For as much as null bitches about fat people, his gallon of soda a day addiction and his pizza day and his years of weight problems are hilarious content to mine. if you trust null's words about site traffic and look at join dates on users accounts, probably hundreds. Null culled a lot of people because of the man-hate and BP threads, i know numerous accounts of long time users that got nuked because they said the wrong thing in a BP thread.

If you look at the numbers for the forum right now, you can see that the site has around 1-2k active members logged in out of 139 thousand total users that signed up for the site.

The problem is, the vast majority of those 139 thousand accounts are either alts, observers, or just outright inactive.

You could argue that the deplatforming campaign in some ways strengthened Josh while also weakening him at the same time. Think of it as a double-edged sword if you will.

DropKiwiFarms may not have succeeded in ultimately bringing the site down (at least for now), it did however succeed in tainting its reputation and crippled its long-term sustainability (Cloudflare and Payment Processors being the main factors here)

The Kiwi Farms will eventually die, but as you said, it will go out with a whimper rather than a bang.

Josh could have parlayed his struggles back then into becoming a genuine media personality. Like he could have used his connections and tried to get some high profile appearances. Say what you want about him, but "free speech forum shut down by trannies and big tech" and the related debanking is exactly the sort of content Tucker Carlson would do a segment on. And if not him, then someone else in that sphere. He would have to answer for all the extreme content that offends Tucker Carlson viewers like people saying nigger, and he would have to self-censor himself and not call for mass murder every day. But he could have gotten his name out there.

It is puzzling to me why Josh is only now trying to push the political angle and cater his site toward Trump boomers. If he was smart enough to curate his image better and not sound like an unhinged lunatic one step from doing a mass shooting, he would not only have less problems running his site but his silly "United States Internet Preservation Society" would actually be legitimate and he could be grifting to his heart's content.

Arch Linux is the worst choice of distro to use as a daily driver, especially if you're new to Linux and you just want to do things like gaming and Internet browsing out of the box. Arch is notoriously a difficult distro to install and maintain on your machine because while it is a lightweight distro, you have to customize how your Arch setup is going to be during the installation process which requires you to know a lot about Linux just to install a user interface of your choice in your Arch setup.

I'd only recommend Arch for those that are well seasoned in Linux to use it.

If you want to do basic gaming, Internet browsing, or listening to music on Linux then just use an easy to use distro (like Linux Mint, Fedora, Ubunatu, Bazzite, or Pop_OS) to make your life a lot easier. There's plenty of easy to use lightweight distros that work out of the box so you don't have to tinker with Arch anyway.
