Brilliant analogy! And it probably hurts even more that Nick has shown zero remorse for it and still managed to sneak that jab in on Josh's pride.
Nick remembers what Josh has said better than Josh has himself. Poetic irony directed towards someone who prides themselves with a website that archives everything.

It's also hilarious to me that Jershua thinks Nick owes him anything at all. They aren't friends, he did nothing to make him popular, runs an entire subforum devoted to shitting on him and Jersh is continually and endlessly sperging out about how he himself doesn't owe anyone anything, but if someone shovels a plate of his own shit back in his face, he is like WELL I NEVER HOW DARE HE? At one point during the MATI segment he did about the DMs Nick released, he literally broke down in a screaming fit about how Balldo needs to give him the footage now like a fucking 3 year old.

Nick is a lying piece of shit and not releasing the footage before it has to be is in his best interest. Jersh has some realization of this but he still thinks if he whines and screams enough to Balldo about it, he'll break down like a tired mother with a toddler in a grocery store that wants some piece of candy. It isn't going to happen, deal with it.

Keep in mind that he has people like this cheering him on. I'm sure his ego has reached the point he genuinely believes everyone, governments included, should just follow his every command lest they face his wrath.

Josh has had this sense of entitlement long before Nick came on the scene. After he revived my thread about "meddling with lolcows". I exchanged a series of letters with him. He had this mindset that because he had an entire forum devoted to Chris Chan, it somehow gave him the right to control Chris' relationships on social media such as Facebook or X.com

When I politely told him that Chris was not his property just because he had a forum built around him, he became very angry and resentful towards me like he was totally unable or unwilling to empathize with other points of view. @Home Depot Bucket is right on the money with Nick Rekieta and Josh. Josh can't or won't empathize with Nick when he tells Josh the video tapes are sealed because his attorney advised him that his is in his best interest legally.

He must just un-person them in his head. Like they no longer become a human being after they cross a certain threshold and so he expects them to respond like a pet animal would on command. Nobody will disagree Chris and Nick are pretty disgusting people. But they're still people. They're still capable of realizing when they're being messed with. They're not going to suddenly drop all sense of agency just because Mr. Drama Website says so.

What's funnier still is, I've seen this work with Keemstar and Metokur. Something about both of them, when they corner some dude (like Mundane Matt, for instance) and start grilling him on his shit. They have some ability to causes people to open up and spill, like they're being interrogated. Josh has never had this ability. Remember his "interview" with Channing Creager where she was going to spill about Sam Hyde? Except she didn't and made a fool of herself and Josh by being drunk the entire time? But Josh just kept it going for some reason because he probably imagined he could salvage it. If it had been Daniel Keem or Jim in that call, I totally believe they would have discovered some way to salvage it. Or, at the very least, make it more entertaining than pockets of dead air.
 
Kiwifarms is running with some linguistic trick spearheaded by Josh that just because Nick said all trials should be made public to "observe for corruption" it also means he should consent to releasing police bodycam footage of the police raiding his home when these are two separate issues. None of the parties involved (Nick, Kayla, April) want to consent to the release. Kiwifarmers pretend this is some grand contradiction when it's not. Furthermore, Nick and Kayla are married and make decisions together, particular decisions concerning their children. Why should Nick go against his wife's wishes just to appease fat manbaby Josh?
