The power-trip of being able to impact Rekietas life negatively.

He envys Rekieta because he has experienced how its like to be socially succesful.

Rekieta also seems to be free from feeling shame or embarassment over what people online thinks of him and that is new for Josh, Josh is used to lolcows who crumble inside over online judgement, Josh is used to shitposters who compete to appear the most based in the eyes of the crowd, and Josh himself spends a lot of energy on how he is perceived by his community and releated communities.

He tries very hard to appear tough and smart instead of just not giving a fuck and being himself. Instead of either saying "yes, i know i should loose some weight, its just hard" or just ignoring people, he feels the need to engage in elaborate reasoning to explain and defend why his course of action is actually based. He is deeply concerned with what the crowd thinks, even on an issue so far removed from politics/KF-politics etc.

Rekieta does certainly act childish, explain away things and try to appear "above it all" but that is his personality, its not because he is so deeply invested in whatever resentful shitposters on the internet has to say.

Even if people wont like it he will post that balldo review because he wants to, Josh could never be so free from the fear of judgement.

My guess is that Null has gotten a false sense of security. He thinks the law is a fool and that he can get away with the biggest trolling tactic ever pulled. The truth is a defense to a defamation claim only up to a point. It is not a defense to invasion of privacy. If Null somehow gets his hands on the body cam footage with the intent of wanting to fuck up Rekieta's legal defense, his truth defense goes out the window along with Kiwifarms.

"It makes sense when you put it that way - Rackets is still a highly successful individual who has a family, despite his personal demons, which makes it even more amusing that Josh would be so envious of him and his modest successes. It's strange to see Josh like this; I wonder if he ever contemplates the end of his online life cycle. Given that streamers and internet personalities typically have short shelf lives - usually no more than 10 years - before they start to fade into obscurity.

"Yeah, his ego has definitely grown bigger than his waistline lately, which isn't surprising. That's why the MrBeast situation is so interesting - if he continues to host the Discord logs while simultaneously calling MrBeast a pedophile, how long until he gets hit with another defamation lawsuit? It's not just Rackets who could take him down; his harassment tactics could also land him in trouble. Sometimes I think he genuinely believes he's untouchable because he's convinced he's smarter than everyone else, but that kind of arrogance is bound to backfire eventually.
 
A user seems to explain Nulls rationale for wanting clips of Rekieta claiming conspiracy so that Null can rgue it is in the public interest to have the tril broadcast.
