I can understand this group concerns about pornography. and having it access to like children, however there’s parental guidelines parental commands. there are ways to see things and not see things on steam. for example, I am an adult. I’m almost 40 I can see anything on steam and buy anything I want for I am an adult however, I have friends and family members who have members they are under the age of 18 and their ways to make sure they don’t see everything on steam

Collective Shout and payment processors are so fucking based!

In reality Steam played super fast and loose with porn games. Every single sale seemed like it was saturated with sick shit and unless you started specifically telling it you didn't want to see each individual game you just got flooded. Now put yourself in the shoes of a parent. You want to trust your kid with Steam but you see that. Even if you use filters publishers and developers avoid certain keywords just to slip through it. It's set up to be ever present. It's more than just annoying. The fact that payment processors had to step in for Valve to fix their shit is ridiculous. This has been a known problem for at least a decade and it's pretty well known. Payment processors are just an easy boogie man to point to but in reality this was Valve not doing their job for a ridiculous stretch of time.
