How anyone is still falling for the "women don't actually like sex" meme is beyond me. It's not like there are entire songs and genres of music where women talk about how much they like sex and how much they get it in.
I know a guy like this who seems to sabotage himself at every turn in the romantic department to the point where I almost wondered if he was gay. He would never even try it on with other similar nerdy girls but whenever he would meet a complete trainwreck of a woman he would like immediately ask her out on a date. Like one time he was simping over this girl he even told me told him she was an addict in recovery, lo and behold she acted like a maniac on the date and he decided it wasn't worth it.
Just like Null, my friend didn't actually want a relationship or even sex really that was all too much for them. However like Null my friend wanted to be thought of as an adult and being that neither of them were going to do any growing up any time soon the act of having a relationship would have to be an acceptable substitute. Finally like Null my friend was not able to get a GF so he had to settle for brief stints of attention from women who were completely desperate for one reason or another.
