In fact it's arguably not as bad as many of those simply by virtue of being entirely drawn. Even the ones where you can tell the plot/scenario is something the author is either deeply fantasizing about doing IRL or something they experienced as a child (and yes, I have been shown some of those) are only about as bad as 2g1c or some other very niche and disgusting fetish shit.
I don't want to sit next to a dude who is openly into loli the same way I don't want to sit sext to a dude who is openly into scat fetishism. I just don't want to deal with them because not only do they lack the social skills to keep personal info private, their personal life is gross. Should they be put on a watchlist? In a perfect world, no, but people get put on terrorism watchlists for twitter shitposts these days so maybe it's fair for law enforcement to keep a list of lolicons just in case. Should they be jailed? Absolutely not, we have freedom of speech/expression for a reason.
Letting the lolicons post about how much they love anime 10yo girls under their full names all they want is a good thing because they're openly self-identifying so they're easier to avoid and/or document in the cases of the criminal ones. You'd think that Jersh, owner of a literal fucking lolcow website, would grasp the concept of not interrupting an enemy when they're making a mistake.

It is close to a Gamergate 2 debate since the lolifags and hentai addicts are among the parties calling out the payment processors for censoring the internet. However lolicons also oppose age verification laws for looking at 18+ content, another Gamergate 2 level debate. Then the Lolicons are winning because yesterday on Halloween or on November 1st (I think) the European Union scrapped their plans to enact Chat Control for social media.
Chat Control was a proposal by the EU to scan for CSAM and other content deemed illegal under EU regulations for social media. However, while privacy advocates and human rights advocates know that the EU means well, they criticized the proposal over privacy and humans rights concerns by stating that this may give some EU member states more authoritarian power to police speech on the Internet in Europe (similar to what we saw with the disaster known as the UK Online Safety Act).
So for the moment, Chat Control is now dead in the EU with privacy and humans rights groups celebrating the EU scrapping this horrid proposal.
The EU (for the moment) saved their tech industry while the UK is killing theirs. Honestly, the shit Kiwi Farms wants for the Internet is only going to ruin the Internet; this includes ironically ruining Kiwi Farms should the Kiwis have their way in policing the Internet.
