It looks like the video was legit, but it was a short 6 second clip of a longer video.

Dr. Amy Acton, Vivek's opponent, is intentionally taking advantage of the stupidity of people like Josh to drive people into a false frenzy. When people like Josh read "year-round school" their brains think more school will be had when it has the same amount of school days as a typical school year.


Furthermore, it is not Vivek's official policy, but a casual suggestion.

"A statement provided by Ramaswamy's spokesperson did not dispute the authenticity of the video, but said Ramaswamy's remarks as part of a "casual back-and-forth on TikTok" did not amount to a "policy rollout."

Replying to this old post to point out how funny it is that the TES thread is filled with oldfags and BP posters, the same groups Null used to shield and protect from A&H, and now they all think he's a fat pedo while Null is fawning over A&H and trying to whip them into starting a Indian pogrom.

exactly, they have year-round schools in North Carolina and people seem to enjoy it. its something like 9 weeks on, 3 weeks off and because you can opt into it its not as much of a problem, and it does make trips and shit easier and cheaper you're not constantly "going with the flow" and its not that different from the typical season for the most part. the name sucks but honestly 3 weeks off is enough for pretty much any trip. you're fucked on camps for the most part, but it also means students aren't all swamping local areas too, you'd be shocked how empty things like amusement parks or museums are once you go in the off season. so things are cheaper too. i bet its easier to get days off at work too because you're not fighting for the same days as everyone else throughout the year.
