Even the majority of 40 years olds (late GenXers, 47%) are mostly Republicans. These are all people who experienced Desert Storm and/or the War on Terror as adults, so unlike clueless zoomers and Alphas who think the ME is #FreePalestine, these boomers and GenXers have no delusions about the ME, who runs the show there and how, and what is at stake for the US.
