I feel for you honestly, dude. It’s late so I’m shit at formulating my thoughts but I totally get what you mean, Kiwi culture demands you to care about certain things that most people just don’t. That was its main defense, all the “tranny” and “nigger” stuff were just jokes. The average person could say “Ok, not my humor, but I’m glad you’re not being serious”.

Fast forward to 2025 and it’s not jokes anymore, there’s legit actual for real racists and people who actually get off to seeing trans people botched in surgeries. Could this get Kiwifarms shut down? Not sure. Probably not legally, maybe some sort of mass disavowal. I actually would like to say, one of my relatives got shot by police who thought she was armed because of a phone. She obviously sued. It's not thar uncommon. But yeah.
