The hilarious part is that you can't really count on the GOP to fully embrace a China-styled surveillance state because individualism and collectivism are like oil and water, no matter how hard you try you will never mix the two together because their properties cause them to reject each other.
The GOP does have its share of radicals that want religion to play a very large role in people's lives but they always fail on the count that not everyone in the GOP is that crazy about turning America into Iran. So long as the GOP still embraces some aspects of individualism (firearm ownership, property rights, the U.S. Constitution, etc) then fringe right-wing groups like the Dissident Right or the Religious Right will never really get their way. Even the 2nd Trump administration has threatened to put more tariffs on both the UK and the EU over their plans to regulate the Internet and Trump administration's own FTC has warned American Big Tech to simply disregard what Europe is trying to do (it's very difficult to do authoritarianism in America when even the GOP can't agree on a universal definition how to be an autocrat in America).
You'd think the GOP would fully embrace shit like the UK's Online Safety Act or the EU's proposed Chat Control policy because these two things would be very powerful tools to police speech on the Internet in America but so far the GOP has rejected what the UK and the EU are doing because Trump opposes to what Europe in general is doing. Shit, even Trump and the GOP have denounced debanking by the credit card companies where you'd think they'd embrace that too because debanking would also be a very powerful tool for an authoritarian government (which proves my point that the GOP will never be truly authoritarian so long as they keep embracing some aspects of individualism).

These are just a few recent examples that show you just how difficult it is to establish collectivist values in America because America since its foundation was founded on staunch individualism. So long as the American Constitution stands as is, the Far-Left will never be able to truly ban guns and the Far-Right will never be able to truly ban porn either.
The point I'm trying to make here is that if the Kiwis really want porn to be banned in America then they have to start openly advocating to abolish the U.S. Constitution, abolish property rights, and have the American government no longer have checks and balances anymore where the American government acts under a fully centralized authority (much like what you see in present day China, Russia, and Iran). You can either have individualism or you can have authoritarianism, you can't have both.

I feel for you honestly, dude. It’s late so I’m shit at formulating my thoughts but I totally get what you mean, Kiwi culture demands you to care about certain things that most people just don’t. Well, since 2022 it’s had a steady culture change. What kept Kiwifarms going is the fact that it was all jokes, no one actually hated black people or transgenders, everyone was just busting eachother’s balls cause it’s funny. That was its main defense, all the “tranny” and “nigger” stuff were just jokes. The average person could say “Ok, not my humor, but I’m glad you’re not being serious”.
Fast forward to 2025 and it’s not jokes anymore, there’s legit actual for real racists and people who actually get off to seeing trans people botched in surgeries. Could this get Kiwifarms shut down? Not sure. Probably not legally, maybe some sort of mass disavowal. Like how OnlyFans was shunned by the internet, if the web found out that it’s no longer a joke, maybe KiwiFarms could become the internet laughing stock. The laughing stock that, if you’re caught with an account, you’re shunned. Maybe. But that would require people even knowing how bad it’s gotten. The outcome was unlikely and what would have to happen to get the outcome is even more unlikely.
Now, maybe KF could “die” by Josh’s handling? I mean, it’s hanging on by a thread when it comes to the code, and he apparently is running out of money to fund it. But even then, it imploding in on itself would take genuine years.
If KF does die, it won’t be this year. Or next year. Or the year after that. I can only ever see it dying if Josh himself died from old age or something.

Warranted or not, both sides need to cool down at some point which I hope for but that race grift is spreading.

First off, this murder happened over half a month ago. Someone had to have been poring over databases across the country to find this footage without a tip and it's not like he wasnt arrested.
Building on that, there must have been tons of footage with white guys committing crime, black people committing crime on each other or even just an ugly white chick but they went in on this specific crime. I think the black people refused to call the police because reminder. Most black people don't want to he a snitch. I actually would like to say, one of my relatives got shot by police who thought she was armed because of a phone. She obviously sued. It's not thar uncommon. But yeah. Everything in America is fucked once you realize the main issue is allowing mentally ill people to roam around. The main issue of that guy was he needed mental help. Not being released 14 times. Even his mother wanted him to be in the pad ward.
Instead of focusing on racism. We should go and focus on fixing the system and actually keep retards in the ward when needed. I'm tired of the rule where you can just discharge yourself as an adult when you're obviously a danger to others. As a child I was kept in physicatric hold (there was someone as young as 5 there too. Everyone was pre teens or teens, I'm not sure if she was a inpatient. Think she was but was getting evaluated. This was when I was 11 so a decade ago.) I couldn't leave because I was a minor. But adults can choose to leave and they can't keep them there because "muh freedom".
If Daniel Larson never got arrested he would've ended up killing someone. It's always the mentally ill and homeless we abandon and complain about but never do anything to get them off the street then complain when they commit a crime. What happened should have been prevented but this is a failure of the government. They shouldn't be praised for handling the situation.
