Two of the major musical icons in Nigeria, Wizkid and Davido, were unexpectedly seen and videoed hanging out together and vibing in a club in Lagos on Saturday night. This news has brought social media on standstill as many individuals haven't gotten over the gush of love both legendary artists showed each other due to their long, unspoken history of having a beef with each other. When it comes to music rivalry in the Nigerian music industry, the battle is always between the 100 BG, Davido's camp, and the WIZKID FC, Wizkid's fan. And although both artists haven't made official statements of hate towards one another publicly or implied it in any way, Nigerians believe that these two superstars that started their careers at the same year, and for close to one decade, haven't made music together might have a silent beef with each other.
Saturday's event was firstly attended by Wizkid. It was DJ Skyla Tyla, Even in the Day party. Wizkid came around to show love and support to the fast-rising Dj. However, unbeknown to anyone, Davido was intending to make an appearance at the club to show support to the sensational Dj, which he eventually did. The presence of Davido and Wizkid in the same place threw fans in their feelings with so much excitement in the air. Everyone was super excited and were screaming on top of their lungs with joy as the duo hugged each other, sang together, danced together, and had fun together during their stay at the club.
Some Nigerians claimed that they weren't surprised that both musical icons would be loving towards each other when they met at the club because they are both matured men and that Davido mentioned that Wizkid called him when he, Davido, was mourning the loss of his son, Ifeanyi.
