I think my main issue with the anti porn movement nowadays is what it’s based on. I would be satisfied if it was based on religion or something substantial but it’s based on fucking middle school playground culture of “Porn is lame! Gym is cool!”. I’ve noticed this with many internet movements, they’ll link you to bullshit article after bullshit article but if you engage in it for longer than a second it becomes clear that it’s truly just based on a desire to be accepted and seen as put together. That’s why these people verbally berate you for looking at porn, because everything they’re saying to you is how they actually feel about themselves.
