No goofy, lobotomies "worked" because they destroyed part of the brain and stupefied the patient so they wouldn't have suicidal depression or psychotic mood swings anymore, it was a quick and dirty fix for "my bitch wife cries all the time and I can't fuck her when she's like this" or "my son is having violent rages and can't conform to highly conformist 1950s society or make me proud". It was a caveman tool to reform family members into what the man of the house wanted, because back then everyone in the house was basically owned by him.

On the other hand gender affirming care is extremely successful, every trans person says it's the best thing they ever did. The only outliers are detransitioners who have psycho controlling families or are grifting that make up 1% of that 1%.


Arguing about this is useless because the literature is already out there and nobody who thinks this way is being objective or truthful, it all comes down to believing you own other people and know what's best for them despite not attending medical school or caring about the patient's actual experiences. It's the kind of narcissism and weirdness you only get if you're a huge loser with a personality disorder.

That sounds like most Kiwi Farms threads. Null recently featured a 6 page thread about a white trash livestreamer (who admittedly was almost 40 years old) being shot dead after an argument. The thread is one of the better ones and is full of archived stream clips and a very detailed OP. Then you look at the thread and most posts have 1-2 reacts and one person is maintaining the entire thread. Nobody was reading and only one person seemed to care, until he got killed and Null put it on the front page.

No wonder Kiwi Farms is basically a politics site now where you get told to join ICE and half the features are whatever Fox News is crowing about today. Nobody reads like 95% of lolcow threads, and they die once the person who maintains them gets banned or chased off the site for admitting to liking anime or saying porn should be legal. Most of the active threads are people who Null beefs with like Ralph, Fuentes, or Rekieta. Even formerly active threads like Jonathan Yaniv (pedophile tranny who sued salons into waxing his balls) are now on life support, even though the subject still gets up to stupid shit.

Was it always this bad? I remember lots ot threads on minor lolcows were a lot more active in the 2010s (and to a degree before 2022).
