Good to know Daniel is so retarded he thinks mobile data usage is a "bare IP" 🤣
what do you expect from the guy who struggle to differentiate between his own bullshit and reality? kek. I bet this dumbfuck also think my IP and email he leaked when he's still a mod is legit too. the good thing about people like him is that anything they say will not be meet at face value

...they vomit that kind of shite on a daily basis. To say nothing about their dear feeder clamoring for mass genocide just a few days ago.
It’s genuine subhuman behavior, rightfully making them (including GlupShitto) look like eldritch abominations.

Would it come to as a surprise to the Kiwi that Nintendo and LGBT themes are nothing new and this goes as far back as the 1980's when Nintendo was still figuring out how to do games.

Birdo is Nintendo's first troon character and the first troon character in the Mario series (made their debut in Doki Doki Panic and later on in the Mario series), Vivian would also be another troon character in the Mario series (made their debut in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and this character being a troon would be uncensored in the Switch version while the old American Gamecube version had this detail being censored back then), Baten Kaitos Origins has one canon non-binary character, one of the Earthbound characters is gay in canon, and the Fire Emblem games are reowned for its LGBT themes and canon LGBT characters.

This is really nothing new for Nitnendo. Wait until Kiwi Farms find out about the really raunchy games that were only released in Japan on Nitnendo consoles but never saw an international release back in the day (while most of Nintendo's first-party games are known to be family friendly, there were games that got released in Japan on Nitnendo consoles but they never saw the light of day outside of Japan back in the day).
Considering the Dead Space image, I’m reminded of how people whined about the “capitalist pigs” thing in the Dead Space Remake.

Reason: This post looks elongated on my end.

I'm just nitpicking here but Vivian wasn't trans originally. Her mother/sisters were abusive and would call her "boy-like" as an insult. Wokescolds--as they often do--ignored the larger context and took these statements at face value so they could claim a character was trans.

As for Birdo being trans, wasn't that a later retcon?

Admittedly I'm just nitpicking, as most of what you've said is correct... and in general Japan has been cool with LGBT type stuff longer than America has (remember the "cousins" in Sailor Moon?)

I think I stand corrected.

But regardless, even though much of Japan is pretty socially conservative in a lot of things for the most part, due to Japan having legal free speech protections under their post-war constitution (and because the Judeo-Christian perspective of homosexuality never dominated Japan in the first place because Japan has never been a Christian country) means homosexuality and other LGBT themes will be more prevalent in their pop culture.

Now Japan is a country of paradoxes, homosexuality is prevalent in their pop culture (especially when it involves anime and manga) but their government is still hesitant to fully support LGBT rights. There's legal protections for LGBT individuals in the work place and most employers tolerate said individuals working for them and nothing is stopping an LGBT individual there to hold public office and LGBT individuals can serve openly in their pseudo-military (the JSDF).

But Japan's ruling government under the LDP (Japan's largrst right-wing political party) is also very pro-traditional nuclear family and their current prime minister Sanae Takaichi rejects feminism and rejects the legalization of gay marriage (similar to the stances that America's GOP adopts). It also appears that Japan is going to go further into the Right in the near future (looking at recent trends) where while some civil protections for LGBT individuals in Japan are supported by the LDP, the LDP is still not on board to legalize gay marriage and they're not on board with legalizing the adoption children by LGBT individuals either.

It doesn't help that half of Japan's elected officials or appointed officials are members of Nippon Kaigi (an ultranationalist lobbying organization in Japan that aims to make Japan into the Empire of Japan again where they reject progressive ideals like rejecting gay marriage and rejecting feminism while also wanting to make Japan a military power again).

So I'm guessing "science" means something different in Kiwi-land?

@TheCIAGlowsInTheDark Yeah I've long thought this is why Japanese media breaks a lot of people's brains on either side of the political autism spectrum--because Japan is doing its own thing, a lot of people don't know how to read it.

Funny thing, earlier today I saw a Mentiswave video where he made a basically similar argument about Groypers, where he said a lot of boomers have trouble understanding them because they're lacking a lot of social/historical context.

It was actually a fun watch, as at times it almost felt like Mentis was talking about Kiwifarmers (he is... not flattering to Groypers. He describes them as people who are right about some things but are kneecapped by a heavy dose of tunnel-vision, laser-focus on certain autistic fixations, and their policies being not very different from what their enemies want).

Me as a scientific mind (and because I have a background in STEM), claims like these are a hypothesis; not settled science or let alone a settled science in the field of psychology.

It's similar to the debate about porn or social media addiction or if violent video games leads to real world violence. They're a hypothesis as best to compelled speech at worst (and at least for video games most psychologists have come to the conclusion that violent video games doesn't create the next Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold).

The hilarious things is that while Kiwi Farms decry degeneracy, the Kiwis still consume stuff that can be seen as degenerate content and most of the Kiwis would get the Ernst Rohm treatment under their worldview should their worldview be applied in real life (Ernst Rohm was a faggot who was also a Nazi and he got the bullet in the end despite being a staunch German nationalist that hated Jews before his death; Ernst Rohm hating Jews and promoting German nationalism didn't saved him in the end).

I don't know about you guys but decrying degenerate content like lolicon but still consuming degenerate stuff like Fate Grand Order; you're still going to have your hands above the wall and get the Ernest Rohm treatment in the end.

I'm just saying, most of the people in the lolicon thread would meet the same fate that would end Ernst Rohm. Shit, Fransisco Franco would probably put the Kiwis in mass graves if he was still alive and ruled America in an alternate timeline because most of the Kiwis would not be as pure as him as far as political ideals go.
